is now carrying a message that a Toast 5.1.2 Revision 2 Updater is being written. I do not know if this revision will address the problems noted here, but it is the only reference to any rewrite I can find anywhere on Roxio's Toast pages. [alert admin]

FreePPP 2.6.2 (Mac OS 9)
dialer area continues to be a thin one, Free PPP still shines. Beats the heck out of Remote Access, and along with the menu option, provides a concise jumpstation for internet applications. [alert admin]

G3 running OS 9.0.4 and Communicator 4.7.6, this version of MJR crashes Communicator almost everytime. The crashes are split 50/50 between just after bookmarks load and at random times when pages are loading. I didn't have this problem with the other betas of this plug-in. All crashing ceased when I disabled the "Use plug-in" option in the Advanced section of Communicator preferences. Looks like it is back to the drawing board on this one. [alert admin]

Apple Startup Disk 9.2.1 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
ShrinkWrap sometimes chokes on self mounting images created with DiskCopy when it is engaged automatically by StuffitExpander at the request of a browser or FTP Client. To avoid trouble, if the image does mount, simply drag it to the trash, locate the .smi and double click it to mount. Should be safe to use thereafter. [alert admin]
