Blackjack Gold 1.3.0 (Mac OS X)

Blows the freebie games right out of the water!

I bought this game on recommendation from a friend. The full version blew the freebie games I'd tried right out of the water. Granted, some of the freebie games had nicer graphics and wiggly dealers, but Blackjack Gold was more like sitting in a casino. Much more realistic, and truer to actual casino play than most of the other download games I'd tried. And it had an amazing variety of game options. Lots of playability. I'm not surprised that my casino friends gave it such a high rating. I'd definitely recommend it. The full version is well worth the price. And it works great on my MacPro. [alert admin]

Mahjong Solitarus 1.6 (Mac OS X)

Love the dragons!

One of the first things you see when you launch the game are dragons winding their way around the screen. I loved it! This game has gorgeous graphics and sound effects. It was a little weird to hit the Quit button in the game to get back to the main window for preferences. That was counter-intuitive. I also wasn't expecting a zip file for a Mac program, not that it was a problem. The music is a nice touch and I am delighted to be playing an old favorite again. I did download another one at the same time and this one had much nicer graphics and a more entertaining feel. [alert admin]

Snood 3.0.1 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)

Works for me on 10.2.8 and 10.4.7

I've played version 3.01 on OSX 10.2.8 and 10.4.7 without problems. I've got it installed on OSX 10.2.8 on a B/W G3 and on a Macintel. Runs on both without bugs. And it runs on my Macintel running 10.4.7 without problems. It's not the most sophisticated game in the world, but I do keep playing it. [alert admin]

Fetch 5.3 (Mac OS X)

Fetch is an asset

Some programs let you do the job, others let you do the job easily. Fetch let's me do what I need to do without giving it a thought. It makes my life easier. Yes, I'd recommend this program. I am grateful it's still around. I always worry with shareware that doesn't force you to buy it whether they will keep supporting it, and thankfully they have. I supported them. Hope you do too! PageSpinner 5.0 (Mac OS X)

Awesome! Wish it was cross-platform.

I've been using Pagespinner for years. I love it! I love the way it doesn't add a bunch of garbage to my HTML. It's one of the few shareware programs I've actually paid for. Well worth it! My only complaint is that I wish it had a Windows version. I work on both computers and I have to do the Windows pages the hard way. [alert admin]
