Seems fine

Just tried out the demo. Not sure what all the fuss is. Seems to open and play WMV files just fine inside QT. I am using Tiger 10.4.2 and QTPro 7.0.3 I tried exporting a WMV to a Video iPod format and that seemed to work just fine too. I don't use any M$ software like Office at all so I don't have to worry about it. From what I can tell only two files are installed. A PreferencePane and a QT component. Trash those and you'll be fine if you want to ditch it. I'm gonna eval it awhile longer. I am currently leaning towards buying it. [alert admin]

MusicPublisher 1.0b8 (Mac OS X)

Awesome!

This little app does what iTunes can't! It lets you share music from your iPod! It's truly awesome! Let all your co-workers listen to your music collection! Not steal, just listen! I thought iTunes 5 released today, may have broken it though. Appears that it is OK. The only thing different I noticed is that the iPod no longer show's up in my own shared folder. It used to in 4.9. No problem. I have the full iPod direcory anyway. The only thing that was nice about it showing up before, was that you could tell right away if the sharing was working. No big. This is truly an awesome app! Nice job! -Steve [alert admin]

PostCard 20040506 (Mac OS X)

Great app!

Sure, you can use Apple's iCards, but you need the overpriced .Mac subscription to do CUSTOM cards. Postcard takes care of that in a very elegant manner! Easy to use and fun! Awesome little app! [alert admin]

iPodderX 2.2.9 (Mac OS X)

not so much

Buggy. Added one feed. Worked just fine. Can't seem to add anyhing else. No real documentation, so i don't know if it;'s a limitation of this lite version. [alert admin]

WeatherPop Advance 2.0.4 (Mac OS X)

Skip it!

I gladly paid the $8 for what I thought would be a great app. I could be cool, but until they solve the stability issue, I cannot recommend this app. Go with the free WeatherDock. It doesn't crash and can be configured to look very similar to WeatherPop. [alert admin]

iTunes Catalog 1.7b1 (Mac OS X)

Could be better....

Just trying this app out in demo. Great idea. The HTML page looks great. Needs a better set of options for generating the catalog. Both iTunes Publisher and iTunes XHTML Playlist have better options for what you want to appear in the list. This app forces you to use genre (I may not want genre in my list, but with this program I have no choice). It also seems to only want to retrieve album art from the net, when all of my songs already have album art. I'll check back after a few more revs. It'll get there. Keep on it! [alert admin]

DVDpedia 1.3.3 (Mac OS X)

Awesome!

I switched from DVD Cache to DVDpedia. Both are good. I think with the work Connor has done, DVDpedia has suprassed DVD Cache. Nice job! [alert admin]

Very promising

Am a long time user of Stone Design's Create (yes from the NeXTSTEP days). Vector Designer now does EPS parsing! I can now import, edit and export EPS files!! Something I wish Stone would have done long ago. Tweakersoft delivered! Plus VD has much better bezier handles and controls. This is the one to get!! My new favorite app!

Great app but wwaaaayyyy tooo slowwwww

Hmmm...I have found the complete opposite. Bloated apps by Macromedia, Adobe, etc seem painfully slow. Create seems to hum along just fine.
