Yum 2.7 (Mac OS X)

Spelling

I looked at three recipes and found 2 spelling mistakes. How do I know that the recipes have been checked for accuracy? Very unprofessional. [alert admin]

VueScan 8.4.85 (Mac OS X)

Great_ then?

This has worked very well for me for years. The only question I have is, 'Should I install every update? (sometimes 2 in a week).' It is also more difficult to install than it used to be. Still great software tho'. [alert admin]

Virex 7 DAT 7080723 (Mac OS X)

If you really Want a virus checker.

If you really WANT a virus checker you should switch to Windows. I haven't used one for years and have never had a hint of a virus. MacOSX has not had a virus in the wild yet, so don't bog your Mac down with Dis or DAT. [alert admin]

VueScan 8.4.67 (Mac OS X)

I agree!

"Something like: "Recommended for all users" or "Recommended for users of the particular scanners listed. Update not required for other scanners." Thanks." I am updating this app every other day it seems. Mr. Hamrick, is this necessary? Plus it is getting more complicated to update for me. I now have Vuescan-8, and Vuescan-9. I guess I'll just trash -8. What a load of rubbish!

I concur fully with the following: "peterpica How can you get an update to a file that, when downloaded, then expanded and launched, is "unable to find an application to update"? When I ran updates from AI 13.02, it told me there were no new updates available. WOW. Adobe's gone great lengths again to ensure disappointments in its applications. Come on Steve Jobs! Let's give those fat cats at Adobe some more competition! I fear they're going the way of Quack Depressed in their complacency." Total Adobe (mud hut) BS. By Adobe Steve. Ron. [alert admin]

Smart Scroll 2.7.5 (Mac OS X)

Get it!

Scrolling using Smart Scroll doesn't seem like a big deal - until you have to revert back to the stone ages without it. Just try it, you WILL like it and buy it. [alert admin]

SmartBackup 2.2 (Mac OS X)

Backup or be sorry.

I use Super Duper, which has just been updated to Leopard. I'm sure this app is also good. Make sure you use SOMETHING. I lost all my data once. It cost me weeks of effort to get back to near where I was before my disk crashed. [alert admin]

RX580 works

Glad your RX580 is working. I have had NO problems with mine. I have an Mac (Intel) and have not had any problem with any Epson printer out of the box. I do use VueScan for scanning with my RX580.(BTW, I use CarrotInk for my supplies)

Fan-freaking-tastic.Hahahahaha

The ONLY possible explanation for this this glowing review is that you work for McAfee, or that you are an old Windose IT guy.
