...finally the "Launch and Hide Others" works with my Finder shortcut! Man, I've been dying for that for years. I really appreciate Spark's stability and small footprint. I keep trying others, and keep going back to it. Great stuff! [alert admin]

Apple Remote Desktop Admin 2.1 (Mac OS X)
OK, I agree that drag-and-drop copying would be cool, but let's please admit that this is one of the finest sys admin tools available. Thanks especially, Apple, for going with VNC! [alert admin]

Salling Clicker 2.2 (Mac OS X)
The first time I used Clicker with my P800, I became all-over-again glad to be a Mac user in the 21st century. This is what personal computing should be like for everyone - and everyone should have a Bluetooth phone! (And by the way, the developer is ridiculously quick in responding to questions.) MailUnreadStatusBar 0.4.3 (Mac OS X)
I really wanted new-mail notification that reacted to Mail.app instead of checking my POP3 server. This is a fine compensation for Mail's lack of versatile alerts. Also be sure to look at Mail.appetizer, a very smooth piece of code. [alert admin]

This kind of smart text parsing should be part and parcel of every PIM program from Address Book to Entourage. Big thanks to the developer - and even more for doing it for the community. How about doing something similar for iCal? [alert admin]

Certainly supports my phone a lot better than Apple's Address Book. These features will become more integrated and standardized as Bluetooth and OS X evolve, and this is a very cool start. [alert admin]

LaunchBar 4.0.beta1 (Mac OS X)
The original LaunchBar changed the way I use computers, and the 4.0 beta did it again. Totally superb, and caused no problems. One tip: To realize the true value of LB, one really should read the documentation and learn all the little tricks. [alert admin]

Epson TWAIN and Scan Utility 1.28A (Mac OS X)
At least if you have a CX6400 All-in-One, which doesn't work with version 1.28A. Epson has 1.32 posted on its web site, which did work. Sheesh. It would be nice if they kept their VT updates current. [alert admin]

Recommend you avoid - developers are unresponsive to paid customers
I second this emotion. I love the product, but I have contacted them three times to find out why the service quits and requires constant restarts. I have heard nothing. I just noticed they have put out a beta to fix these issues (I'm downloading now), but they should have responded at least to say they are working on it.
