OmniWeb 5.5.4 Beta 1 (Mac OS X)
e.g. www.themacgroove.co.uk www.sofasoundstudio.com I think the problem is to do with using frames and I do hate frames. The trouble is one of these sites is my preferred homepage. [alert admin]

OmniWeb 5.5.2 beta 2 (Mac OS X)
I totally agree with Brindsley Quives
There is so much to love about this program, I still think it's the best option on a wide-screen MacBook. The trouble is it won't open many web-pages, one of which is my preferred homepage. www.themacgroove.co.uk www.sofasoundstudio.com is another. I am told that Version 6 has started early beta testing, let's hope it makes the races. [alert admin]

OmniWeb 5.5.2 beta 1 (Mac OS X)
There are still a lot of sites the OmniWeb won't open. This seems to be a frame related issue. www.themacgroove.co.uk and www.sofasoundstudio.com are 2 that know of. I've come across about 3 others. But, having said that OmniWeb is so good that it's well worth using for the rest of the time. Just switch back to Safari when required. Let's hope version 6 which I am told has just started to beta test fixes the problem. [alert admin]

www.themacgroove.co.uk still won't load on the latest version. This site works fine on every browser on every platform. It's the only thing stopping me from making it my default browser on my Mac. Everything else is just fantastic about OmniWeb 5. I love the speed and the layout is much better on a wide aspect ratio motitor like the MacBook because the tabs are at the side. [alert admin]

Freeciv 2.1.0b2 (Mac OS X)
The only people who actually know what's going on with this game are the really clever people who need to get out more and the people that actually coded it. The icons are really bad just take a look at the examples available on this site. If I had any talent in this area I would offer my services in a heartbeat, but alas... [alert admin]

AcidSearch 0.62 (Mac OS X)
AcidSearch is FANTASTIC! I can't live without it. The on ly trouble I had was that the default search engines were very US centric. I live in the UK so the search results were not always focused on the UK. I spent a lot of time building a UK collection of search engines for AcidSearch, the international ones are still there together with some really useful extra stuff like TinyURL, Wikipedia and many others. The collections can be downloaded here http://www.simty.homeftp.net/Site/The%20Mac%20Groove/BBD8A762-6093-4541-A602-CC77E0B38846_files/AcidSearch-UK%20Channels-1.zip [alert admin]

I think if you go check the new official full name of Adobe Flash Player, the word Shockwave is part of it. i.e Shockwave is now handled by Flash Player

It's not just www.themacgroove.co.uk it's also www.sofasoundstudio.com and I'm sure I'd find about 1 site a week that has the same problem. I do really care about www.themacgroove.co.uk because it's my preferred homepage.
