GIMP 1.2.5 (Mac OS X)
They grab free software, do nothing more than "rebrand" it, and charge $25 for the privilege. Do yourself a favor and avoid these guys like crazy. You can grab fink and FinkCommander to get GIMP, and lots of other stuff, for free, and there's no difference between that and the OpenOSX version, except for the $25 savings from avoiding a bunch of charlatans capitalizing on free software in the worst possible way. OmniWeb 4.5 (Mac OS X)
The best browser for MacOS X is back, and speedy. OmniWeb has amazing features, is completely customizable, and has the best cookie management on the planet. Now it's fast enough that I don't use Safari or Camino anymore. Tabbed browsing would be nice, but it's not a show-stopper for me. [alert admin]

AppKiDo 0.891 (Mac OS X)
A huge timesaver that I've recommended to all my Cocoa-savvy friends. It's in near constant use while I'm doing Cocoa work. [alert admin]

iMagic 1.0 (Mac OS X)
...but not very useful to me. If I could use it as a database to see what cards I own and dump that list to a file, it'd be much more useful. [alert admin]

Liaison 0.2.1a (Mac OS X)
You're the only person I've heard have that problem. If you wouldn't mind, can you firststart up the Console (/Applications/Utilities/Console.app) and then start up Liaison and copy and paste Liaison's output into an email to shmit@kublai.com?

Liaison 0.1.3a (Mac OS X)
can be done with the Finder, but Liaison was designed for what I think is a more common case: sharing files between friends and co-workers on a local network without having to mount/unmount, share passwords, or anything else like that. Just open Liaison and you're sharing, and will find other shared files on the local network. Drag-and-drop to copy, and you're done. [alert admin]

WhatsBetter Tool 0.1 (Mac OS X)
with the website, www.whatsbetter.com, at all, past just liking it. For those who complain about how useful this plugin is, I have a simple solution: don't use it. I wrote it to learn how to make a Watson plugin, and that's all. It's free, don't tell me how to use my time. [alert admin]
