Apple Security Update 2008-006 (Mac OS X)
SHA-1 digest doesn't match download
The "SecUpd2008-006PPC.dmg" file I downloaded from: http://www.apple.com/support/downloads/securityupdate2008006clientppc.html does not match its SHA1 digest that is supposed to be: 61898bf315d04958aaf487bb92ba257d059a33ce Instead I get an SHA1 from the terminal of: 7b3aed47dbad3d55d90d093a6fb7a81c34c22a2c Can anyone corroborate my findings? Amusing that a security update download wouldn't match its posted SHA-1 digest. [alert admin]

Icon Arranger 2.1 (Mac OS X)
Description not like Desktop Resetter
Icon Arranger's "ReadMe!" file suggests that it is not like OS 9's Desktop Resetter and will not restore icon positions to a previously saved state. It would be nice if someone would write a simple applescript to rearrange icon positions to a previously saved state in MacOS X as "Desktop Icon Manager" did for MacOS 9. [alert admin]

Bill5011, do you have Limewire's preferences set to "Shutdown Immediately" or "Shutdown after Transfers"? You can find these options under Shutdown in Limewire's Preferences. >How do you quit this program? bill5011 >Version: 4.2.4, 12/2/2004 12:19PM PST >I can never quit Limewire - cmd-Q highlights the File menu, but the program just >sits their, so I have to Force QUit it.
