One Objective Feed 1.1.1 (Mac OS X)
Developer is very quick to respond!
I downloaded One Objective Feed (v. 1.0, I think) about a week or so ago, and it worked well. I sent a note to the developer asking for a couple of additional features, and the next day (or maybe the same day?) he released an update. When the update didn't work, he sent me a fix. His responses were very quick, and he is working hard to make this little app a very useful one! [alert admin]

TapDex 3.3.3 (Mac OS X)
This little app does one thing very well. With a quick keystroke, I can invoke the text-entry window, type just a few letters of a name, and find contact info quickly. It links cleanly to AddressBook, where I can access the contact file to edit if needed. Sometimes I just want to check a phone number or e-mail, and TapDex allows me to accomplish this without having to launch AddressBook. [alert admin]

AppCleaner 1.2.1 (Mac OS X)
I have tried others (AppZapper, AppDelete), and this is the best. Highly recommended. [alert admin]

I, too, have found that it works best to uninstall the previous version of Flash Player (as Adobe recommends), and then to install the new version. That said, I have encountered videos that are green and blocky recently, but not sure if they're Flash videos. Sometimes things just don't work.

I also have version 6.x of Virex. How can I get version 7 that will work with OS 10.4? A Google search unearthed little.

Apple X11 is on your Tiger installer disks (if you have them). I haven't yet installed X11 (you are warned to back everything up first, and I don't have a Plan B), but I think installing it is fairly straightforward.
