Flexify 2.3 (Mac OS X)

can't try...

...because it keeps crashing Photoshop CS2. Got a bunch of other Flaming Pear...no problem with them. G5 2.0 GHZ DP, 4GB RAM. [alert admin]

Sophie 1.01 (Mac OS X)

I agree...

...with both tcgasia and jmonarc... there aren't even any screen-shots on the developer's site (lame)...and "robust, elegant rich media" are so non-descriptive...that could mean anything. [alert admin]

Racer 0.5.4.3 (Mac OS X)

its got potential, but...

The graphics are great! Game-play is TERRIBLE! Only my opinion, but car racing games are about the only ones that I enjoy, and this one played awfully. The driving physics are WAY off...not even remotely like Nascar or Ford Racing. Plus, most, if not all of the cars on the home site were either broken links or it told me my download limit had been reached ("you're only allowed to download ___ within 15 minutes) when I never successfully downloaded more than one! I trashed this after about 15 minutes. [alert admin]

Application Enhancer 2.0.3 (Mac OS X)

On Unsanity website...

On the Unsanity support page, when asked wether or not Unsanity haxies will ever be 10.5 compatible: We are hard at work getting Application Enhancer and our haxies compatible with Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard. We've been so delayed because APE didn't even run until we received the shipping version of Leopard. We currently have a working internal build of APE, so it's only a matter of days until we release APE 2.5, and updated versions of our haxies shortly thereafter. Please keep an eye on our official lines of communication (website - http://www.unsanity.com, blog - http://www.unsanity.org, newsletters - http://www.unsanity.com/list, etc.) for more information on compatibility releases, calls for beta testers, and other updates, and watch our compatibility page at http://www.unsanity.com/products/compatibility. There's hope yet! [alert admin]

The Tube 2.0.1 (Mac OS X)

Have not tried...

...will not try! There support is the worst that I've seen...I contacted them a week ago and still have yet to hear back. They must be doing VERY well in the European market, because they seem to do nothing but dis the U.S. I have a couple older Miglias and they run EyeTV, and they run it VERY well, so I'll be staying with them. It's a shame because I wanted to run alternative software (other) than EyeTV for my EvolutionTV. It would handle the SD recordings and the TVMini HD would handle the HD...maybe the MigliaTV? Would that work? [alert admin]

MediaCentral 2.6.3 (Mac OS X)

There are two things that are holding me back...

...from getting this app. I should say that the look, functionality, and ability to customize are just great! The 2 things are: 1. The lack of being able to adjust the amount of seconds/minutes it jumps to when you rewind/FF. It jumps forward like 3 minutes...I would want it to FF like 30 seconds, or better yet just scrub through quickly 1 second at a time. and 2. Any video content that I play, QT, avi, DIVX, stutters every few seconds. Unacceptable. This may be due to the size of the monitor (30"), but I don't see that entering into the equation here...video NEVER stutters under any other apps, so, a bit puzzled. Any ideas? Thank you. Sprechen sie Englisch?

I may be wrong about a NEW Miglia HDMini, but I run mine (last year's...off ebay) with EyeTV. I wouldn't run Equinox's garbage if I didn't have to.

Still A-Grade Rubbish

I was VERY close to buying this thing before it was available (I was on that V.I.P. list for U.S. buyers), but when I saw just how long it was taking them to get their product out, something told me to wait even when it was released...glad I did. And then the U.S. reviews started rolling out! ALL BAD! I decided to buy another Miglia on ebay (miniHD, I wanted HiDef), and stick with EyeTV... EyeTV, the…

Can't hide the native onscreen remote

I stand corrected...it does hide the original...will it also launch when EyeTV is launched, or will it have to be launched separately?

That's really a shame. I haven't had the same experience. It starts up pretty quickly here.
