I was thinking of building my own system for MultiAlarm but this worked great and with SparklePlus i am able to build a record of machines and what hardwares inside of them. Great Software [alert admin]

This is true but not completely true, if you simply want to use the laptop as a server with no extra devices you need a program like this, the same goes for if you want to move the machine from one meeting to another with out turning it off/sleeping. Or the plain classic examples i get: I dont want torrents to stop working when i walk around the house, I like to use my laptop as…

Great way to destroy your laptop 
The current Apple line of MacBooks support clamshell mode and is safe to do so, as well as the PowerBooks support the clamshell mode as well. As far as Apple has told (limited) us is that the iBooks do not support clamshell mode, although everyone that has used their laptops in clamshell mode have not reported any heat increase. Sorry wrong listing, it would seem it was trying to ask you if you wanted to to check for updates on launch but the window appeared below everything else and hence everything what blocked out. I will fix this bug.

support for the intel machines running 10.4.8 has been dropped officially due to the time consumption and lack of hardware available to me. Please do check the site every so often to see if any progress has been made though

If you contacted tech support the issue would of been resolved, how ever for any one using 10.4.8 Insomnia will not work until a fix is generated so please refrain from posting bad comments until a new release is made.
