httpmail plugin 1.53 (Mac OS X)

I've downloaded this and everything seems to work fine, and I have chosen the HTTP server etc etc. However when i tried to receive any emails, I had a lot of trouble receiving emails. I can send emails without an issue, but for some reason the inbox isn't working. Please help. Thank you x [alert admin]
