Fetch 5.5.1 (Mac OS X)

No Thanks  

I've been using Fetch for like 10 years already. I actually don't really have any issues with Fetch except that the occasional recipient's ftp doesn't like it, but in that event, I just bust out Cyberduck. No probs, but yeah, Fetch is my preferred program. Anyhow, I saw this new version of Fetch 5.51 on versiontracker so I took a look, just out of interest. I'm not really looking to replace the version, I have as it does what I want anyway, but when I saw that it now cost's $30, you guys lost me. No thanks. My current version is doing the job and I really don't want to take the risk of losing functionality on a newer version anyway. How many times has that happened that a developer removes functionality on a new version and you wish, you kept the old. By the way, I'm still on version 4.03 I just checked and there sure seems like there's been quite a few updates since 4.03, so tell me, what am I missing? Is there a truly compelling reason for me to bust out $30?... Sean [alert admin]

Glad that I didn't buy it. It seems to do everything that it should except actually show pictures when in slide show mode. The music plays and all, but just a black screen where there should be pictures. For the developer's info, I'm using a MAC G5 dual 2.7 with 4.5 GB of ram. [alert admin]
