VMware Fusion 3.0 (Mac OS X)
I had no trouble downloading & installing this update. Didn't even mind having to pay for it. Been using Fusion since version 1, and it's always worked great. I've got WinXP, Windows 2000, Windows Server 2003, and a few linux virtual machines. Never had a problem. Top quality software, unlike Parallels. [alert admin]

Dumbest name I've seen in a long time
Touching a fried egg doesn't make me think of visualizing data. [alert admin]

Apple Safari 4.0b (Mac OS X)
Move Tabs back where they belong
Safari 4 is nice. Quick and some nice interface improvement. However, I don't think having the tabs replace the Title Bar was a good idea. I tried it for about 6 hours yesterday, and found it to be rather annoying. If you want to move the Tab bar back BELOW the address bar, quit Safari, open a Terminal window and paste this: defaults write com.apple.Safari DebugSafari4TabBarIsOnTop -bool NO Hit return and quit Terminal. Done. Otherwise, very nice for a Beta. Keep up the good work. Hopefully this Tab preference won't be a hidden preference in the final version. [alert admin]

Path Finder 5.0 (Mac OS X)
I use Path Finder, all day long, so a $20 upgrade was not an issue. The dual pane browser is sweet. Other interface polishes make it worthwhile. Nice job CocoaTech. [alert admin]

iChm 0.9.1 (Mac OS X)
Thank you! I deal with a LOT of CHM files regularly, and have been surprised at the poor apps available to read them. xchm is terrible. Chmox is pretty good, but there's no search capability. Now, iChm offers the best... Cocoa, search, speed, simple interface. Again, thank you! [alert admin]

StuffIt Expander 12.0.2 (Mac OS X)
If you need a free de-stuffit tool, use The Unarchiver. http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/30810 Free, doesn't require admin privileges to install. It decompress everything except .sitx files, which nobody should be using anyways. Propriety compression formats are annoying. Stuffit, you were good about 10 years ago, but now... not so much. VMware Fusion 1.1.3 (Mac OS X)
I've been using Fusion for just over a year. After initially fumbling with Parallels and having kernel panics, I gave Fusion a try. I use it every day. I'm a web developer, and it's allowed me to get rid of the noisy PC that I used to use as a testing server. In the past year, I've recommended Fusion to everyone I can. Never had a crash, or any problem that I can remember. I've created Solaris, Linux, Win XP, Win 2000, and Win Server 2003 virtual machines, and they all work perfect. Not much else to say except it's a real pleasure to use well engineered software. These guys know what they're doing. Looking forward to checking out version 2 when it's final. [alert admin]

Scheduler for Macintosh 5.0.3 (Mac OS X)
Been around since 2001? You'd think it would work by now... Perhaps the ugliest toolbar icons I've ever seen. Remarkable. Set up an hourly reminder for tomorrow... got some "fatal error". Whatever. into the trash. [alert admin]

Adobe Flash Professional 9.0.2 (Mac OS X)
What's up with these things?
Downloaded the update from here... installed it... looked to see if Flash was in fact 9.0.2 and the answer was NO.
SO, I ran the update from within Flash itself, and still, nothing. Some "Flash Lite" something-or-other...
Flash is still 9.0.0.494
HEY... THERE'S THIS THING CALLED "PACKAGE INSTALLERS"... Why can't you (Adobe) use them?

Removing CopyPaste from my MacBook Pro with OS 10.5.2 stopped constant freezes!
Hmmm... There is nothing in your post to support your conclusion that Copypaste Pro is to blame. I just purchased a license, and have it installed on a mac OS 10.5.6 machine and never had a problem.

Not sure what your problem could be. Currently, I'm running the following VMs: Vista, Win XP, Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2000, and Ubuntu Linux (not at the same time!), on an iMac or MacBook. Never had a moments trouble with any of 'em in over a year. Never needed their support site, so I can't comment on that. Google is usually better for that sort of thing anyways.
