RapidoResizer 1.1 (Mac OS X)
Version 1.0 was a great utility that I loved. This version has a crippling bug that does not permit the entry of sensible numbers for size. It's not just me -- friends have noted this as well. Also, if you're going to have an option for units of dimension (mm, in, px) wouldn't it be better to have these as a 'live' option via popup menu rather than hiding it away in Preferences? The same comment applies to JPEG quality. Great ideas, but poor execution. [alert admin]

RapidoWrite 2.2.1 (Mac OS X)
If you install this with Leopard, you'll find bizarre behaviour when attempting to add new contacts in the Address Book. I notified the developers of this after trialing the previous version -- they acknowledged the problem but claimed it's an OS fault. Regardless, this latest version STILl has the problem and is therefore NOT "Leopard compatible". If you have the problem, you need to get rid of the RapidoWrite .plist from your Preferences folder as well as trashing the app and the associated login item. [alert admin]

I found right away that it's totally unable to detect the actual versions of apps that I have installed, incorrectly listing older versions. I came to review other comments and based on what I've read, won't experiment any further. Mind you, version 3.5.3 wasn't much better at detecting which versions I actually had, so I won't bother reverting to it. [alert admin]

Tiger Cache Cleaner 3.0.2 (Mac OS X)
... more times than I care to count. An indispensible utility for anyone who looks after more than just their own Mac (and only one notch less essential if you look after just your own). [alert admin]

Launch! Netspace 1.0 (Mac OS X)
Works perfectly, just as its predecessor Telstra version did. One teeny cosmetic problem -- it still shows the Telstra logo in the menu bar. Still five stars. [alert admin]

Lookup Postcode a2e4 (Mac OS X)
.... if you follow the About Tim Mansour link and then the author's home page link, you'll find the instructions. Good one, Tim. It seems to work most times, which makes it a VERY welcome addtion to my kit of tools. It would be handy if it worked also in Edit mode, but I can understand why it can't. Well done! [alert admin]

Lookup Postcode a2e4 (Mac OS X)
... this would be great if it worked, but how do you make it work? A ReadMe would be nice. By the way, the Developer's Site link doesn't help --- it simply downloads the file again. [alert admin]

Panther Cache Cleaner 2.4.7 (Mac OS X)
I run a small Mac support business, and PCC has fixed more problems than I care to recall, both on clients' and on my own Macs. Correspondingly, it has never to my knowledge created a problem that wasn't there before. What more can you ask of such a utility? Thanks a million for this little gem! [alert admin]
