i'm afraid $10 just about buys a beer in europe at the moment - and that seems a bit cheap. [alert admin]

Virtue 0.5r2 (Mac OS X)
a little suspicious of the multiple 5 star ratings given that i can't get this to work - at the very least that means its not intuitive and shouldn't be getting quite such gushing praise. My specific, and rather fundamental, problem is that I can't assign applications to specific desktops. The add application button is always unavailable and even when an application is showing in the applications inspector when a different desktop is selected for it the selection promptly returns to the original one. Strangely there is no entry for this most fundamental topic in the help file. Any help gratefully received. [alert admin]

TrackDesigner 1.2 (Mac OS X)
if the app doesn't load at all its quite likely the unix permissions (from reading other comments on versiontracker there appears to be a bug in stuffit 8 that can cause them to get muddled). I can tell you how to fix this but it involves using the command line; let me know if you want to try. [alert admin]

TrackDesigner 1.2 (Mac OS X)
was developed on 10.3.5 so not the system. Don't have a G5 but can't see how that could make a difference as long as the system is the same. Could you send me any error messages from the Console app ? I will retest on 10.2, could be a bug crept in on the last update. [alert admin]

margin note editing is tricky and would require a complete rethink of how its done. highlighting has been requested by many others and i hope to implement this soon. extra formatting tools are also on the to-do list. thanks for the feedback.

have had a few others say this (privately) but each time when I say I can't reproduce the error they have found that it does work for them after all. Are you sure you are using the new category box and not the new sub-category box ? I haven't tested on 10.3.1 so its possible but unlikely to be a cause - changes to the programming environment usually only occur at new releases of the…
