Very 3D Christmas Screen Saver 1.2 (Mac OS X)

Pretty Neat, But Why Does The Elf Look Grumpy?

It's a pretty neat screensaver and works pretty well, but in my trial, I found that the reindeer sometimes flew through a roof, the elf looked grumpy and Santa didn't look excited about what he was doing. I thought it might be nice to have on my Mac in the living room area for my little ones to see, but at least I thought that it could be a bit cheerier. [alert admin]

Eudora 8.0.0b1 (Mac OS X)

Could Someone Clear This Up?

I read that Eudora is a plug-in for Thunderbird, but I'm not sure what this means, as there's a dmg available for Eudora. Does this mean that if I go to Thunderbird now (from mail.app) that I'll be able to easily switch to Eudora on final? [alert admin]

teleport pr4 (Mac OS X)

Best "Undiscovered" Mac Utility

This product is fabulous, and the developer has been able to make it so intuitive, when lots of synergy developers can't. I can't wait for 1.0. [alert admin]

iSight Screensavers 1.0 (Mac OS X)

Interesting-looking Product

It looks like an interesting product from the prefpane, but I wish that I could turn on the screensaver in a working way in the demo. There's text on the top and bottom anyway. [alert admin]

MailPriority 1.4.1 (Mac OS X)

Not Compatible With 10.4

Unfortunately this product is not compatible with Mail in 10.4. Perhaps there's another recepit request add-on, but I haven't see one. [alert admin]

Plain Text Editor 2.4 (Mac OS X)

Great Program To Do Just What It Says

This is just what it says, a plain text editor, and I like it. This is nice when you're worried that apps are going to add junk to your text....like the old SimpleText. [alert admin]

Do Not Harrass Developers

If you don't like it, don't download it. We don't need such negativity for no reason. [alert admin]

Eudora 6.2 (Mac OS X)

Eudora is Great (5 stars) - Some suggestions though

At least to my knowledge, the following are accurate: - A signature always includes "--" and a line break when you use it. You can't specify what break you wish to use. I would prefer if they just removed that "feature" since you can create that very same break in your actual signature if you want it. - OS X Address Book is the main book people use these days on Macs. It allows integration with mailing applications, syncing for webmail if you use .mac and between machines and phones if you like, integration with iChat and iCal, and it's a standard format for sending to people. Eudora does support OS X address book, but it only picks the first email address when you are using auto complete to enter addresses in the email. Making this feature able to have you choose the address would be very nice. - There's no way to search filters. I've been using filters since Eudora started supporting them and I guess I have around 100 filters. Since there's not a good way to sort them to find the information you're after, it's hard to update old filters manually. All this said, it's a great product, and I hope that soon paying for another year subscription will yield these and other advantages. BTW, I don't see what's new in 5.2, anyone know? [alert admin]

Works perfectly

You should be able to independently adjust the settings for Skype without this menu. As an example, when a Skype call comes in, my external speakers are set to ring, but bluetooth audio is automatically selected for a call.

Have they improved the overall look and feel?

Can't you just use the command button to select the drives you want? I don't recall having this problem when I had my five drives even back in the OS 8 days.

Not ready for Intel

Yeah, this is frustrating, it doesn't work on my MBP 2.16. They seemed to suggest it would have worked when I emailed them.

Why did apple not wait till OS 10.2.7 ?

Indeed, the firmware doesn't really have anything to do with the OS.
