Apple Logic Pro 8.0.2 (Mac OS X)
This is correct. 8.02 came out last night. 8.01 came out months ago. The update is great and works well on my MBP and iMac G5. [alert admin]

Apple Logic Pro 8.0.1 (Mac OS X)
This update in version tracker is a mistake. Logic 8.0.1 came out months ago. Nice going version tracker. This update made Logic studio work better on my MBP latest OSX. [alert admin]

Apple Java for OS X 10.5 Update 1 1.6.0_05 (Mac OS X)
I have a MBP 2.4 GHz, Leopard 10.5.2. I used software update and it came up. I installed it with no problems so far. One thing that you have to do is go into your utilities folder>Java>java pref application, and then choose this version to be your default version of Java. Hopefully Apple will have versions for all the rest of our older computers soon. [alert admin]

Apple Mac OS X 10.5.1 (Mac OS X)
In Tiger I was able to use the remote control in Logic Studio. When I upgraded to Leopard the remote no longer worked in Logic or Garage band. The Apple support and Apple store do not know how to fix it and are even unable to say wether its a bug or not. Today I am downgrading my MBP to Tiger and will not use Leopard until the remote issue is fixed. [alert admin]

Apple Pro Application Support 2007-02 (Mac OS X)
I upgraded to Leopard and have not been able to use my remote with Logic Studio like I had previously used in Tiger. The remote also does not work in Garage band. I spoke with apple support at both the apple store in Westchester, NY and on the phone and both were not able to give a answer if it was a bug or if it could be fixed. Most of the time Apple genius's google to find the answer to a problem. I could do this at home and it is defiantly preventing me from purchasing Apple extended warranty. I am just about ready to downgrade to Tiger since my MBP is new and has barely anything on it. I do hope Apple gets back in the game with customer service. They really use to be great and knowledgeable. [alert admin]

Nanosaur 2 Hatchling 2.0.4 (Mac OS X)
It looks like the reason this update was put out was to advertise. As soon as I open the program it tells me that "The Pangea Super Pack has been re-released as a download! 5 games for $49.95. Great job Pangea you s#$% [alert admin]

Apple iPhone 1.1.1 (Mac OS X)
It works smooth on my iphone. No problems so far. I still don't like the idea that you can't create your own ring-tones because of this update. I feel if I can do it on my computer than I should be able to do it on my iphone. An Iphone is a computer and a phone. You can cut and splice music that you purchased on your computer so it should be allowed on the iPhone. An apple rep at the apple store told me that Apple wanted to allow iPhone users to create there own ring-tones but were told by the record labels that they would have to charge. Hmmmm I wonder if thats true ....probably [alert admin]

Apple Logic Studio 1.0 (Mac OS X)
I was watching a video on Logic Studio (macprovideo) and I really like allot of the new interface features that are being offered in this version. It looks easier to use and is a complete overhaul of the old Logic Pro. If you look at the website you can see what other programs are being offered in this package like compressor, impulse response utility, apple loops utility, wave-burner, main-stage, soundtrack pro, and more. There is support for surround sound in many of the plugins and mixing in surround. Check out some of the free vids of it at macprovideo.com under logic pro tips and tricks. [alert admin]

Pando 1.6.0.0 (Mac OS X)
Pando is a cool thing but you could send any large file over instant message like yahoo chat, AOL or pretty much any other chat program. Just open up chat and attack a file. True the other person needs to have there IM client open but it works with any file size. [alert admin]

Detour 1.5.5 (Mac OS X)
I use it with a iMac G5 and I've noticed when I use Logic Pro and change the sample rate to 96000 I need to make sure I change it back to 44000. If I don't detour will not work. I can do this in Logic before I close it or if I don't remember I can open audio midi setup in the utilities folder and change it there. Its a cool program and works on my system. [alert admin]

Take one step forward and two steps back. I'm using more open source programs than I use to because it just works better. Thunderbird mail sets up easier and works. I think Apple came up with this time machine idea to not only save their customers if a internal HD breaks but also if the wonderful software updates Apple throws at us screws our computer. But wait now the software update…

problem creating dual-layer DVDs
Yep I do agree with you on the fact that DVD2Onex customer service stinks. There policy on license codes is that they only keep a record of it for 1 year after that if you forgot it or lost it forget about upgrading unless you buy it again. For the price if I new better I would have spent the cost on Popcorn. Burn works good but it I can't figure out…
