1Password 2.7.2 (Mac OS X)
This product is from a team that continually thinks of features I need before I know I need them. The recent and upcoming iPhone enhancements make this software a must for anyone browsing while mobile. I hate keeping track of passwords but there's no getting away from the need for security. I can use all the help I can get and 1Password does the job. [alert admin]

BusySync 2.1 (Mac OS X)
Our small office has been able to share a single iCal calendar between 7 different users. We all have MacBook Pro's and iPhone's that need to share appointments and BusySync has been performing without any problems for several months. The main calendar in on an office Mac mini and it publishes our shared calendars to both LAN & WAN users. This also works seemlessly while traveling out of the office. Setup was simple and well defined, the cost is a bargain, and integration with OS X Leopard is very clean. I would recommend this to both home and small office users. If Address Book sync is added to a future version, this will become an essential tool for a wide variety of Mac users. [alert admin]

Logitech Harmony Remote 7.4.1 (Mac OS X)
Looks like version 7.4.1 performs an auto-update of some components and now lists the version as 7.4.3. It also lists some of the recent update changes in the Harmony app main window. The main application still shows as 7.4.1 in the Finder but some components have been updated. The two home folders, "browser - logitech" and "logitech" remain a part of this utility, which is a bit sloppy, but everything is working with my 520. Note - One of the updates is listed as "Better paring with the model 1000" [alert admin]

Apple MacBook/Pro Keyboard Firmware 1.0 (Mac OS X)
Finally we have a fix for one of the single most frustrating bugs of recent years. MacBook Pro is no longer skipping first character's typed. Don't know why Apple didn't make the patch work for Tiger since a lot of affected computers shipped with that version of OS X and they are still under warranty. [alert admin]

Adobe Acrobat Pro 8.1.2 (Mac OS X)
8.1.2 fixes the problems with the PDF Printer and annoying bouncing icon in dock with OS X 10.4.11 & 10.5.x [alert admin]

Cocktail 4.0 (Mac OS X)
*censored*tail has been improving the user interface for a while now. But they deserve praise for taking it another level forward with the additional ease of use in version 4. Sapiens 1.0 (Mac OS X)
I like the concept and can see a lot of work and thought went into this app. I'm reverting back to Quicksilver because it's more responsive. A launcher need to respond instantly or at least start caching keys that I'm typing prior to showing the interface. It always seems to lag a couple of seconds behind my input. Look forward to trying it again if it speeds up. [alert admin]

I agree, the FTP preferences are not the same as other FTP applications and took quite a while to figure out. Here's what worked for me: Server = www.yourserverhere.com/ User Name = yourusername Password = yourpassword Initial Path = path/to/your/images/ HTTP Image Path = www.yourserverhere.com/images Hopefully this structure can be modified with your own data. Just notice the position of the "/" in each line and it should work.
