Lots of incompatible applications
With the latest QuickTime 7.4 udate , I have come across a dozen or so applications that either refuse to launch, crash on launch, or throw up an error and quit: I have Mac OS X 10.4.11 attempt to launch then crash: - TextToMP3 crash a lot more often: - Grasshopper, Midi Grasshopper - Mighty Midi - SoundFont Catalog - Tab Finder SeƱor Staff has stuttered playback [alert admin]

VocalWriter 1.0 (Mac OS 9)
VocalWriter 2.0 and Windoze version
This VocalWriter entry has not been updated to reflect VocalWriter 2.0, which runs under Mac OS X. It $39 at http://www.kaelabs.com BTW, Seems like Microsoft has licensed a Windows port: "The Whistler Music Synthesizer" http://research.microsoft.com/srg/whistmusic/ looks like a straight port of the Mac OS Classic version. The blurb is ridiculously fake: "To demonstrate the potential of Microsoft's Whistler speech technology for musical applications, a novel music synthesizer was designed." geez, VocalWriter actually has existed since 1997 !! Toast Titanium 5.2.3 (Mac OS 9)
Roxio FALSELY CLAIMS that "Toast 5.1 or later and Jam 5 or later should support all USB drives.". as for example at: http://www.roxio.com/en/support/roxio_support/toast/usb_891.html This is BLATANTLY FALSE. I've been going back and forth to my computer dealer trying to get a compatible USB CD-RW for my iMac DV SE(mac OS 9.2.2). We've tried a few ASUS models, a Plextor and a few from LG (GCE-8526B). None of them worked with Toast Titanium 5.23. I am an experienced MacOS developer, I've followed every possible I am sick, sick ,sick of it. Thank you Roxio I managed to get a competing product working on the first try (guess which)... [alert admin]
