Roxio Popcorn 1.0 (Mac OS X)

Extremely easy to use

I just tested my first DVD copy with this after using Mac the Ripper. The user interface is so simple, it is almost impossible to screw up. Compared to other programs (DVD2One, DVDCopy) this one is truly a winner. They seem to have nailed it down pretty well, even though I was a bit skeptical at the beginning. Highly recommended. Virtue 0.5r1 (Mac OS X)

Better than any others out there...and free!!

I have been using this for almost three months now, and have gotten to the point where I no longer can live without it. I currently have 7 different desktops for graphics, audio, web development, etc. and although it sounds like overkill, once you get used to working with this app, things are way more efficient. It's loaded with features and the transitions to choose when switching desktops are simply jaw dropping. It is fast and extremely customizable. I do second the opinion of a previous poster on being able to move windows to other desktops in an easier fasion. And one feature I would absolutely love, would be to only show the active apps of a specific desktop on the dock. [alert admin]

Unreal Tournament 2004 3339 (Mac OS X)

Lots of bugs, gets old after a couple of days

I loved the original UT, I skipped 2k3 cuz my machine would not be able to run it. The game is "ok" in what respects the vehicles and new weapons and games, but it does get old really fast. Thats when I decided to play online...very often (with latest patch) when I die, I wont be able to respawn, which makes it extremely irritating. I regret I bought this game, seriously. [alert admin]

Namely 1.1.1 (Mac OS X)

Great, an app that replaces QuickerPicker

After many many years I have finally found an application that can replace Quicker Picker. This is the best way to launch your applications, it literally takes seconds and is a better solution than searching everywhere or cluttering your dock, highly recommended. The Good: -Fast Application Scanning -Very small footprint -Fast peformance -Non obstrusive The Not so Good: -No global shortcut key (use KeyBoard Maestro to set it) [alert admin]

skEdit 3.4 (Mac OS X)

A little More

I have been using Skedit for about 6 months now and I think its only fair to post yet another review of this application. The main reason I bought Skedit was because it promised to be a PHP editor with syntax coloring and auto complete. So far it has proved itself immensly and I could not live without it. I see editors out there such as Zend and am not really interested in them. Skedit provides a nice interface to work with php projects (and other scripting languages I have not yet tested). This alone is worth the $20, but wait, there's more... HTML editing on this utility is amazing. Syntax coloring as well and the way you can modify and create code snippets makes it a breeze to insert commonly used tags. The integration with Tidy is great. I have been able to verify all my documents so that they comply with WC3 standards this way. The Site View makes it a breeze to work with different sites, kinda like Site panel from Dreamweaver. I am completely pleased with this product. I have been a beta tester for some time and the response form the author to features and suggestions has always been cool. [alert admin]

TriTag 0.7.5 (Mac OS X)

Amazing!

I downloaded and in less than 5 minutes I was able to download info from the CDDB and then rename a folder completely with no problems. The pattern matcher made it so simple to choose the tracks and track numbers from the song names and apply it to the ID3 tags. Great prodocut, thanks a lot! [alert admin]
