SubEthaEdit 3.1 (Mac OS X)
This is listed at VT as freeware, but upon installation we're told it's a 30 day trial. This software costs 29 euro. That's $46 American. [alert admin]

Shatner Facts 1.0 (Mac OS X)
They tell you that celebrities get reactions from a lot of sicko's, but I didn't totally believe it, until I read this last comment. As for the widget, it doesn't seem to work. The button gets no response. [alert admin]

I've been using this since 2003, and I too get confused whenever working on anyone else's computer. I can't imagine using my computer without this. It's powerful and easy to use, AND, it plays nicely with all my other software - never a problem. I want to thank the developer for being so proactive with updates, and responsive to questions. SmugMugExport 1.0.4 (Mac OS X)
This is so convenient. It's easy to use, quite stable, and it "just plain works". [alert admin]

Apple Leopard Graphics 1.0 (Mac OS X)
As stated on MacFixIt, this update seems to cause a problem saving larger files (I tried 32MB) from photoshop to PNG format. Photoshop had no problem doing it before the update (after installing 10.5.2), but completely locked, when attempting it after this update. Photoshop does not seem to have a problem with PSD, TIFF, or JPEG at this point, but I haven't tested all the Save As... options. [alert admin]

iLikeYouMore 3.02u (Mac OS X)
This looks like a very easy-to-use application, and seems like it can be very useful to people who want a simple interface to accomplish what this seems to accomplish. The Finder has the ability to change this information in the "Get Info" window, although that seems more complicated for the new user. Is this program addressing that issue, and simply adding the ability to perform the function to multiple files at once, or is there something I'm missing? [alert admin]

The Tube 2.0.1 (Mac OS X)
From the lack of price listing on VT, and a look at the developer's website, I got the idea that this was a trial version of the software. After installation, you can't even start up, without registering your name and contact info on their website - which I did in good faith, expecting to be able to try the product. However, even after receiving their "confirmation" email, I still couldn't try the product without buying it. It provides a screen to either enter an activation code (not included in the registration email), or a "buy it" button. I won't pay for software if I can't test it out - especially in light of some of the reviews here. [alert admin]

ASM 2.2 (Mac OS X)
As soon as I posted the feedback below, Version Tracker's page updated on my computer, and shows the answer to my question, and the info on covering Leopard. This is VT's fault, not ASM's. BTW, ASM is a GREAT program, especially for old-time users like me, who don't prefer to switch apps via the Dock. [alert admin]

This review is horribly unfair. There's no marginalization going on here! Each version of the OS, heck, even each update to Leopard, has great variation from previous versions. Onyx has older versions that support whatever OS someone is using on his machine, and they offer a new version for those who have updated. Onyx is a great, free utility that does tons of stuff. And, it does that stuff for everyone!

Well, for one thing - this program works fine with Leopard! That's a huge difference. Unsanity hasn't updated anything at all to work with 10.5 yet.

This tip also helped me to resolve a problem with OS10.4.10, upgraded to Quicktime 7.3. Toast started failing after the QT update, but this tip fixed it (no thanks to Roxio Customer Service, which was uncharacteristically completely unhelpful). THANKS!

It says so in the description of this item, above. OS Requirements for v1.6b1 says 10.5.
