smcFanControl 2.2 (Mac OS X)

A great utility for me. I had big problems with my iMac monitor - after a while after boot up, the screen behaved like a manic, leaving grafic portions of folders/windows on the screen. Somewhere I read that this might be related to the high temperature. Since I use smcFanControl these problems have disappeared. [alert admin]

Google Earth 3.1.0527.0 (Mac OS X)

myplaces.kml not openable under 10.4.4

When I started Google Earth for the 1st time after upgrading to 10.4.4 everything seemed fine. But since the second launch, GE cannot read the file "myplaces.kml" anymore. Have asked in the official GE Forum und "mac", maybe we'll get an answer ... [alert admin]

problem solved

After deleting all from www.gps-tour.info in "myplaces.kml" with BBEdit everything is ok again. GE didn‘t like the comands "refresh" and "pop" there. *sigh* :-)
