RGB MusicLab 10 (Mac OS X)
Some reviewers miss the point of this kind of software. If you want to make canned music, certainly get a Casio. Mona Lisa may be a poor example. The idea is (or could be) to investigate the translational perceptions among different senses. There are many software applications that do this, some being used professionally. Look into MetaSynth, for example. RGBM is not anything close to MetaSynth, but it's creative and...free. The developer should be encouraged to continue this work and make it available to those who appreciate the effort. [alert admin]

EndNote X1 (Mac OS X)
This company charges exorbitant prices for upgrades. Too often. I've stuck with EndNote for a __long__ time and am just about fed up with useless features. I just want a biblio software that: provides a database of literature references, and formats those references as citations in Word (and, wishfully, other apps) reliably. Why can't they just hone the essential features, and keep those updated for OS evolution? Any recommendations for a replacement? [alert admin]

DataViz MacLinkPlus Deluxe 16.000 (Mac OS X)
I agree with other comments here. If you have a specific need for which this translator works, great. But it has not been usable for me for some time. For example, it won't translate very old Excel data files (I'm talking version 1). It won't translate Canvas graphics files, which is a big problem because I used Canvas for several years before switching to Illustrator. Now I have files that won't open unless I upgrade to Canvas. SuperBladePro 1.4 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
From the publisher's website.....................
"Version 1.40 work in 16-bit-per-channel color, has dozens of glue modes, makes web pages for organizing your presets, and is recordable in Photoshop™." [alert admin]

Keith's Image Stacker 4.1 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
to modify this application to increase depth in a series of images of the same subject taken at slightly different focus? For example, in macrophotography where any single image tends to have a very narrow depth of field. [alert admin]

It is not animated. But this application produces some of the most attractive and unique fractal images of any I have seen. I've saved thousands of these in archives and they have yet to repeat. I highly recommend Fracture, and also sending the developer $. Lobby for a stand-alone applicatin while you're at it.
