iJournal 1.77 (Mac OS X)
I'm very glad to see that he programmer is back to regularly updating this wonderful and very handy Mac OS X program! The additions are a welcome change, but one thing that's been bothering me for some time is the "Message from service, Your password must contain at least one number or symbol." error message. It's fine that it comes up once but could you either set a preference or make a check box on this dialog box to not show this error message ever again? I know my password sucks, but I'm not going to change it! It's not even an english word, so I'm not worried about someone guessing it. Thanks in advance for a possible fix or at least an option to disable this. Keep up the great work! [alert admin]

EyeTV 1.8.4 (Mac OS X)
OMG, this is the BEST overhaul that Elgato has done since its inception. Seems like they've taken a liking to how iTunes works and have overhauled their software. They've added such cool features as being able to select which shows you want to be able to easily dump to your Video iPod, Playlists!!!, and the best part... TitanTV searchable Program Guide BUILT IN! No more having to go to the web to search for shows to add from TitanTV.com. Man, they've been working hard on this baby. I plunked down the $50 on a whim from looking at their screen shots, and I haven't been disappointed yet. Sure it sucks that it's $50, but come on, it's well worth it and I feel that they deserve the money after the time and effort they've put into this 2.0 product. You guys have got to check it out, it's simply amazing. Good job Elgato! I can only wait and see what they add for 3.0! [alert admin]

Mini vMac 2.7.1 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
You guys have got to be kidding me
and you call yourselves mac users... A simple google search for "vMac.ROM" reveals all you will ever require. Apple provides Mac OS System 6 here: http://download.info.apple.com/Apple_Support_Area/Apple_Software_Updates/English-North_American/Macintosh/System/Older_System/System_6.0.x/ and who knows, you might even try system 7.x or later, which is available here: http://download.info.apple.com/Apple_Support_Area/Apple_Software_Updates/English-North_American/Macintosh/System/Older_System/ [alert admin]

MacReporter 2.0 (Mac OS X)
Man, I remember how awesome it was having this back in the days before Tiger 10.4 OS came out. Back when this was still version 1.0 to 1.1.5. Was very helpful then as a dock menu, but now I don't really see why I should bother with it when Safari (most Mac users main web browser) has RSS feed updates built in. Sure you can make some points of certain cool features and such, but for most people, Safari's built in RSS news feed reader and collector is enough to suffice. This is still a great program I'm sure, but Apple loves to collect other people's work and integrate it into their own OS (ie. Watson - Apple Sherlock, SoundJam - Apple iTunes, etc). [alert admin]

CustomHTMLExport 0.5 (Mac OS X)
I installed it on my Dual 2.0GHz G5 running 10.4.2 and iPhoto 5.0.4. I installed the plugin as described, then when clicking the menu when trying to export it doesn't change/load the screen. Any ideas what I'm missing? Anyone get this to work? [alert admin]

Dual 2.0 G5 OS X 10.4.2 install issues
Is anyone running ANY G5 powermac with OS X 10.4.2 having trouble getting the installer to see that I've booted my mac while holding the shift key, thus entering this "Safe Boot" mode (which isn't apparent or displayed differently). No matter what I do, I can't get the installer to get past the screen telling me to reboot into Safe Mode! Any workarounds? Help! [alert admin]

Dude, what are you talking about? You just click on the little "i" and set the preference to scan for art for the selected tracks! It defaults to currently playing. It's been this way for a little while now, I believe. And as for the larger sized album art that it's finding, that you can't find on Amazon.com, try clicking anywhere on the image in the widget window (anywhere except for the "Set as…

And just what do you think the connector is at the end of the cordless receiver? That's right, USB. Cordless or not, the keyboards react the same when it comes to sending USB keystroke signals to the computer, that's all this driver cares. Not whether it's wired or not.

OMG wow! I've used Fire years ago, but dropped it in favor of using iChat and Microsoft Messenger (simply because there was always issues with file transfers). I'm going to give Proteus a shot and see how it keeps up. Thanks for making it free!

Same here, I wish they would let users modify the toolbar at the top. Editing video could be made easier instead of currently having to open a clip and then press (Ctrl-e). But what do I care, I'm just happy to see they are working hard to make a quality product and kind of following an Apple standardized appearance, layout and scheme.

FYI, he was talking about 10.2 (Jaguar), not 10.4 (Tiger). And yes, 10.2 probably has built in support for these laser printers, but who knows what was updated in this driver that could add bonus functionality to 10.2 & 10.3?
