teleport 1.0.1 (Mac OS X)
I just gained alot of screen real estate and deskspace and processor cycles NOT having to run a VNC app anymore. I'd give 6 stars if possible. I just made a donation so I can rightfully make some suggestions for improvement: -Progress indicator is needed for drag and drop activity. Sometimes with larger files Teleport seems to be frozen (indeed it is while the files are being prepared) and I don't know if anything is progressing. It's never actually failed, but does take a while. -Allow detached layout so that only a keyboard shortcut can switch screens. This prevents accidental switching. Actually the hold key is just as good, but it's sometimes nice for those who don't like to reach for the mouse all the time. That's it! Great! [alert admin]

FRS Time Tracker Pro 1.9 (Mac OS X)
Simple. maybe too simple. It would be nice to enable groups, as well as clearing old jobs and archiving projects. Also it's essential to be able to edit the time in case a person forgets to start or stop the clock. Nice start, but not worth $20. yet. [alert admin]

Remote iTunes 1.0b Universal (Mac OS X)
Simple and works. Good start. I've tried all the remote controls out there and this is the best. Of course, after using it for a whole hour I already have requests... Some ideas: More sorting options- I use Album Artist, other people like other stuff. I guess right now it only sorts by artist? Needs Airtunes remote speaker control. This is a must. And volume control for remote speakers would be great. Local playback on the machine(s) running Remote iTunes. CoverFlow! (I know this is a lot to ask). Cache library contents during a session- Probably a refresh isn't necessary everytime you wander to another playlist and back to the main library. Seems quirky when I perform a search and then click (double click?) on a column header (tried resorting). It returns to the main library and starts playing what seems like a random song. Otherwise, amazing work! I look forward to paying for the release. [alert admin]

I used to love this app. I paid alot for it. The widget version is great too. But the developer totally abandoned it, and it's useless under Leopard. I'd give it 5 stars, but I hate seeing its alltime rating so high when the dev took the money and ran, leaving us all in the cold. So, a big fat Zero from me. [alert admin]

KeyCue 4.0 (Mac OS X)
With FF I get "No shortcuts are available right now", unless I select "indicate shortcuts in (Apple) menu". Also, the delay problem is a bit annoying, since I'd like the menu to popup quickly AND be able to enter the shortcut immediately for those I already know. Also, WAY too expensive. I'd suggest you lower the price to less than 10Euros, and you'll sell alot more. [alert admin]

Agendus for Palm is a great PIM app, but Agendus Mail is HORRIBLE. They've been advertising IMAP support for 2 years, and despite constant promises with new updates and paid upgrades, it still does not sync with server folders. EVER. And they censor their user forums if you complain or suggest an alternative app. I used AGM for 3 years and finally ditched them. There are 2 other mail apps that are outstanding and a pleasure to use. Try ChatterEmail or Snappermail. Forget Agendus Mail. [alert admin]

You're not doing it right. You're blaming the developer for making something great that you think should've been included in the OS. Think is very simple and doesn't require a pref pane.

And.... Oh, there isn't an Album column at all. That's a must too. also, you're calling it Remote iTunes here and o your site, but eht app after downloading is called iTunes Remote. You should decide and make it consistent.

Actually, I'm recanting my review. After using Tinkertool System for a few months, I did weekly maintenance and ran all the recommended processes religiously. Two weeks ago, after doing the same thing I did before, I experienced constant kernel crashes and freezes immediately following a Tinkertool session. I spent a few days trying to troubleshoot. I'm a moderately experienced user, so I did all the standard stuff- Diskwarrior, fsck, memtest,…

try doing a fsck in single user mode, zap the PRAM and then repair permissions. make sure you have at leat twice the space on your hard drive as is necessary to hold all the video files from the disk. if you dont know how to do any of this, just search for instructions. it's pretty simple.

there are a number of "snapshot" improvements that could really make ABFR attractive for workflow, even as the renaming process becomes more integrated into other programs. I for one, primarily use the "create a numbered sequence" to rename jpeg files as they come in off a few different cameras. It would be great if the sequence could remember the last number (x) in a batch, and make the next batch begin with x+1.
