Aqua Mines 2.1.2 (Mac OS X)

My apologies for rushing this out the door.

Version 2.1.2 was a quick version to fix a problem introduced by the Security update yesterday. I didn't not properly test on a non intel mac or a non development system. I've just posted 2.1.3 which should fix the problem where it will not run on PPC machines and I've removed the dependancy on ZeroLink so it should work on systems with out the dev tools.

In addition to that I will be looking at the app more this weekend and the next to make sure its working well and considering some of the features I've been putting off for far to long. BombSquad 2.0.4 (Mac OS X)

Nice app.

Being a fan of MineSweeper and its clones, I'd like to say you have a nice little app. Some suggestions. 1) Allow a user to turn one or both sounds. People may not want a click sound but they may like the mark sound. Also why not add a death sound. I'd want the sound most when I lost the game. 2) Consider not highlighting the tiles when the game is over. This is just a UI thing with me but when you click if the button toggles it seems as if an action will occur if you release the mouse button in the toggled button. 3) Do a sanity check with your zap clicks. Example if the user zaps a number 2 then check to see that they have flagged 2 tiles surrounding the 2. If they didn't flag the right number of tiles there is no need to let them blow up, IMHO :) 4) Consider having the window drag resize based on the size of the grid tiles. If you have any questions about the above suggestions please send them to roastedsoftware@mac.com I'll try to answer them asap. [alert admin]

It might be possible on OS X.

It is possible to attach to Application in OS X using GDB so it must be possible to do something like this on OS X. But I am only guessing. This app was very cool but I don't run OS 9 anymore and really miss it. [alert admin]

NOT a Universal Binary

Thanks for the update. I was in such a rush to get a fix out for the Intel specific bug I didn't have time to test it on a non Intel Mac. My apologies and I'll be sure to get a true Universal build out this weekend. Until then the old version may be downloaded at homepage.mac.com/jmcguire/roastedsoftware/downloads/Aqua_Mines_v2.1.1.dmg
