Appster 1.1.2 (Mac OS X)

nice idea --- but implementation not very useful

what I expected: - current location of app - more information in window and HTML (infos from file information) - sorting app-name not working could be useful: - add spotlight comments - open information - open in finder [alert admin]

Jolt 1.0 (Mac OS X)

another little missing something --- fine ...

installation mac-easy. handling straight foreward. since I already thougt about to applescript such a little helper, these 5 bucks are absolutely ok, since half of it goes to charity (which for me as german in this case is only virtual :-) - good idea but. idea: as an option allow the keyboard of MaPro to dimm!? iList Data 3.6.0 (Mac OS X)

Nice and easy DataBase

I was looking for a DB for private use and looked into Bento (new from the Filemaker people). This was not enough. On the other side Filemaker is too big and expensive. Now I found this IList Data, which is at least 90% of what I was looking for --- for a really fair price. Handling seems to be not always straight forward and consitent, but my first little apps worked fine. Some ideas for improvements I will post directly to the developer. Nice would be some more im/ex-interfaces especially for mac-typical apps (Mail, iCal, AdrBook, Numbers, ...). Support for applescript could be helpful. [alert admin]

Yeah, and...?

very strange behaviour ... you should at least give the developer a chance to evaluate your situation. I read the description, installed as proposed and had no problems at all. Jolt works fine.
