Parallels Desktop 4.0 Build 3540 (Mac OS X)

Re: Make sure that the Enabled and Connect cable at startup options are selected in the Device Status area. - a dialog comes up and says I do not have a hardware adaptor. I spent over 10 hours attempting to get the new 4.0 to oonnect to the internet and my lan based printers. And, I don't have 10 hours to spend on this - truly frustrating. I read almost all of the documentation (which is lacking), reinstalled over 3 times and finally gave up and reinstalled 3.0 using the backup. At least everything works there. Very - very -disappointed in this release, especially since previous version were easy to setup and use. I can not recommend the upgrade based on my experience. [alert admin]

StuffIt Deluxe 2009 13.0 (Mac OS X)

Installation problems - 5364 error, Unable to Create a Secure Session.

I've spent several hours over several days and it still does not work. When I give additional feedback, I'm pointed to a URL that does not work. I've used Stuffit from almost day one. It is very disappointing to to see this lack of customer care and poor coding. I've have not decided yet, but I'm seriously thinking of not using this product any longer. I can not recommend it to anyone. Too bad, it was a top notch program at one time, I guess they need a bail out too. Jim [alert admin]

Poster Print 2.0 2R10 (Mac OS X)

Great tool

I have used poster print for our dance club a couple of times and it worked great. For example, I made a large poster of a smilie face graphic and some text for one of our dances and the bar where we danced kept iit up for about 4 months. It is a tool that I do not use that much, but when I need it, it really works and saves paying lots of money to Kinko's. [alert admin]
