MailTags 2.2 (Mac OS X)

Indispensable Tool for Mail

This tool saves me a ton of time. It automatically tags all my incoming mail (according to the rules I set up). With this simple feature, I can file all my read messages into one folder and create smart folders to keep track of email while having a relatively clean and empty inbox. I also use this tool to create iCal apts from w/in mail when appropriate (it links the email msg to the event). WELL WORTH the price of admission. [alert admin]

iChartwork 3.2 (Mac OS X)

Would be cool if it worked

Cool idea, too bad it does nothing on my system (latest OS and new MacBook Pro). Oh well. [alert admin]

Data Rescue II 1.1.1 (Mac OS X)

It Saved My Bacon

Well ... it actually saved my data. HD went bad, nothing helped ... except Data Rescue. Worth the $100? Absolutely. [alert admin]

OmniGrowl 1.4.2 (Mac OS X)

Brilliant

Just discovered Growl and looked for all the notifiers I could find. This one is a gem. It works just as the developer says it does and it is a great addition to iCal. [alert admin]

Azureus BitTorrent Client 2.5.0.0 (Mac OS X)

Best BitTorrent Client

I have tried every available BitTorrent client for the Mac. The usability and features of Azureus beat the rest. Creating and re-seeding torrents was incredibly easy. Plus all the view options you are given for the files is fantastic. I was using Bits on Wheels, but with development apparently stopped (plus no documentation), I thought I would find a new app. Azureus is it. [alert admin]

OmniPlan 1.0 beta 9 (Mac OS X)

iCal Support Makes This a Winner

I have used FastTrack for years but now I am going to switch to OmniPlan ... why? iCal export. I have joined the GTD (Getting Things Done) cult and have been missing one piece of software to complete my system, a GANTT chart. With OmniPlan I can schedule out all my projects, then export both events and todos to iCal for integration w/ my GTD system. On the down side, the interface and functions need some work. I am hoping Omni Group irons them all out; but even if not, the iCal export will keep me w/ OP. [alert admin]

iCalPublish 2.4 (Mac OS X)

Great App w/ Outstanding Support

I had some issues w/ the program ... it published some extra info that I wanted hidden. I contacted the developer and he was awesome. We worked together to resolve the issue, and thus we have version 2.4. This software is essential for me since I work at 3 jobs and need my staff to see when I am busy / available w/o giving away all the details. MANY thanx to the developer. [alert admin]

Dates to iCal 1.0.3 (Mac OS X)

Just What I Needed

Not only does this allow me to put incorporate extra date fields from Address Book into iCal, but it gives me the option of having reminders for the birthday fields (and boy do I need that). Super easy to set up and use. Many thanx! [alert admin]

Can't share music w/ v. 6

Can't install on laptop; v. 7 requires 500MHz, and mine is only 300MHz.

It's been 10 days . . .

The bug I found was in the standard sync features, not the archiving. 3.1.1 fixed the bug.

Unimpressed ... followup

Additional insight into Customer Support: I stupidly couldn't find the uninstall program and sent a help request to the author. They responded w/in 10 minutes.
