Cabos 0.5.9 (Mac OS X)

network drop as well

same as the last reviewer i got 0.5.9 and networks went down to 3 so i downgraded to 0.5.8 and 5 networks were back. i'd stay with 0.5.8 until he/they fix the problem. [alert admin]

DateLine 0.2a (Mac OS X)

pretty cool

this is pretty nice i dont like having my time and date in the menubar so i use this for the date and wuff desktop for the time. i have a couple requests: 1. more customization(ability to make smaller, remove the dots, month and day of the week, font choice) 2. no dock icon(right now i use dockless to remove the dock icon) 3. right click to show prefs and to close(relates to # 2) 4. i dont use ical so the double click to ical is no use to me so maybe a pref to disable that i really love the horizontal calendar look not to many people do that, they normally stick to the norm so thanks for deciding to go a different route. i really hope you put some of my request in your app they are some things that could make this a killer app in my opinion. ps: i said font choice but i really like your choice in fonts it looks good. MPlayer 2.0b8r5 (Mac OS X)

can we get a consistent video player for osx

first off i love mplayer and vlc. mine and alot of others these our are main video players cause well ya know quicktime isnt that good except and dont get me started on windoze media player/real player(good interface but...how many .rm files do you have. Anyways one player plays files ok one doesnt at all. this new version of mplayer doesnt want to play vids with subtitles, the old version does but the video is choppy as hell. the sound for some videos is like a whisper while others im goin deaf. An idea for someone why dont the mplayer folks and vlc folks hook up and make a player to end all players that plays everthing just a suggestion/thought. its just a pain using one player for one movie and another player for another movie. Or why doesnt someone with developing skills use the code and make a combination. if i could i would. [alert admin]

Cabos 0.4.1 (Mac OS X)

cabos is the acquisition killer

here are the reasons: 1. free, no spyware, and no adware 2. better downloads(speeds are better than aquisition and lime ware) 3. NO NAG SCREEN (buy me, buy me) 4. Ah, My whole computer doesn't lock up forcing a restart which causes all the downloads to go bye bye. 5. see number 1 reason So the interface isn't that great big deal. Oh yeah its free which enables you to get free stuff. HELLO. I haven't used this version 0.4.1 yet but if its like the others then it will be great. [alert admin]

PheniX 1.3.2 (Mac OS X)

it works for people that are intelligent

just drop a file (i dropped the .zip file on it) then it made a folder on the desktop as promised called Heliopolis. To reassemble all you do is just select ALL the PIECES and drop on the pheonix. Like a couple others said it is crude but it's free and it DOES work. One question to the developer what about when something is emailed or burned on a cd then transfered to another computer how do you reassemble? (mac would be no problem just download this software to reassemble. But what about a pc? Call me curious? [alert admin]

Knowbody TuneIT 3.0.3 (Mac OS X)

now this is some idea

trying it right now this a very cool idea. I have a controller already in the menubar (sizzling keys). But when i'm using indesign which is often this is very convienant even though sizzling keys does all this and more, but great job very cool. Oh On the down side it says you have to register by sending an email i dont know whats up with that, i have a feeling all that means is that you' ll be getting a barrage of emails saying BUY other software from them, such as YOU Software does. Other than that good job on the plug-in [alert admin]
