Printing to the Epson 2200 Intermittently will hang OS X and require a reboot. I print large panoramas using Photoshop. I am on my fourth Epson 2200 printer. Have returned them for various print problems but the hang is the worst problem. It is the only thing on my Mac that causes OS X to freeze. The print quality is great when it works. [alert admin]

I have been a FutureBasic Programmer since 1989 and have written several commercial applications with it (Including MacWise terminal emulation (www.macwise.com) and Yellow Button (www.yellowbutton.com)
FutureBasic is a very powerful and fast programming language.
The applications it produces are fast and stable also.
STAZ Software has continually improved their product for many years, keeping
up with the changes in the Mac environment.
Their tech support is great.
They have fixed every problem that I have reported
to them in a very short amount of time.
The worldwide FutureBasic mailing list is a very helpful source for questions
and coding examples.

I highly recommend FutureBasic.

character map is same as a real terminal. There are some options that affect graphic characters. To make your graphic characters work correctly for your host, check these settings in MacWise: Try selecting International Characters from the Emulate menu and check the box that says Wyse Multinational Characters. If that does not work, try DEC Multinational Characters. If that does not work, try the IBM set in International Characters. Unchecking "Strip 8th Bit" can also have an effect on graphic characters. MacWise 10.0.4 (Mac OS X)
teasethedog (I'd like to know the history behind that name :-) Thanks for the nice comments. Yes, I agree that some of the menus could be more logically organized. I have done some re-organization for the OS X version but don't want to move everything around as it will confuse long-time users who know where to find all of the menu items and settings. That's what happens when you keep adding options to a program for 12 years. MacWise actually started life as MacToPic in 1990 and branched off to become it's own program in 1996. MacWise 10.0.4 (Mac OS X)
sjonke... If you look at the bottom of the Connection Menu you will see "Open Connection Upon Startup" as an option. Multiple Session windows and settings files are coming soon. (In version 4 for OS 9 they were part of the CommToolBox and the entire routine needs to be re-written for OS X. I figured it was better to get the program out there for users who have been waiting over a year (for the OS X version). Rich Love - Author [alert admin]

I had the same problem with my Wallstreet G3. The driver would not show up in the Network preferences. Held down the option key while clicking the Continue button during driver installation and rebooted. Now it works. Rich
