Raymond Lau must be shaking his head, wherever he is, Godblesshim. Since I already use free software that's 700k that does everything I need (well it unarchives everything fine), does that mean this is thirty times better? It phones home a zillion times more often? [alert admin]

Democracy Player 0.9.5 (Mac OS X)
but it again has wacked out my Mac (G4, 10.4.8). Even rebooting, fixing permissions and not running it had my net screwed up. Interestingly enough I tried to use Applejack to get back to normal yet couldn't launch into single user mode until I trashed Democracy and all its lib files. Great idea, but no go. [alert admin]

Why bother to wait for them to fix the installer? There are many free unarchivers that are 2 meg, don't even require an installer, and work great. Personally, I use The Unarchiver.

I've had the problem of the 0 k img files and also of it creating 7 gig files from a 3 gig TS folder : ). Although I was unable to find library files to trash, and permissions/cache fixing didn't help, reinstalling the app did. It keeps happening (orig G5, 10.4.8) so I keep the dmg handy for frequent reinstalls. I've also come across a few TS folders that it…
