FCP Manager 1.5.1 (Mac OS X)
As in, one hundred dollars? Really? I like the try before you buy, but... $100? [alert admin]

Voluminous 1.0.4 (Mac OS X)
I read a lot, and being able to read ebooks saves me from having a house full of stacks of books - Plus I actually find I read faster reading ebooks. And yes I do still buy the occasional printed book just because I miss the feel and smell. But, since the developer seems to be monitoring this Versiontracker page - How about an ereader for the iPod touch? eReader.com is a place where I buy lots of recreational reading, and they offer free eReader software for every OS and handheld device, except the iPod Touch - so far. Maybe you could get them to make you an offer. It would be almost transcendental to have an ereader like yours for the iPod Touch, something that works well to read with, and to organize a small library that a person might want to carry around. Among people who enjoy ebooks there is coming to be a mounting demand for a good ereader for the iPod Touch - something that would be compliant with Adobe licensed ebooks and generic commercial ebooks like those found at eReader.com. Endicia 2.7 (Mac OS X)
Why are Macintosh users compelled to subscribe to a service just to buy postage? If you're running a business that requires significant monthly mailing then obviously this is a no brainer. But Windows users seem to have options that allow them to buy postage on an as-needed basis, and directly from the postal service, with no subscriptions... Why don't Mac users have these options? I have a UPS account, and can pay on an as-needed basis, with no monthly subscription? Don't get me wrong, I see Endicia's service as a good one, just not what I need or want, or am willing to pay for. [alert admin]

Call Recorder for Skype 2.3.2 (Mac OS X)
This developer's products are generally good, I use their iChat product that allows older hardware to maximize bandwidth and ultimately fool the system into letting me do video conferencing on older hardware. I bought and paid for that product, but I thought it was too expensive, and while I'd really like to have this Skype recorder, I think it's just too expensive. [alert admin]

Xtorrent 1.1 (53) (Mac OS X)
I've been using Xtorrent constantly since August 2007 and I haven't had a single freeze, crash or loss of downloads. It just works. I'm using it exclusively on a Dual G4. [alert admin]

But I just can't handle adding recipes, quitting the app., and upon reopening, the newly added recipes are nowhere to be found - Ouch! This goes for hand-entered and imported. It's always the ultimate frustration to finally find a program (after extensive looking and trying) that I like to work with, only to find that it's full of serious bugs. I see the last update for this product was in 2006 - wow! How is it that a developer with a serious looking product doesn't take it seriously? Very very disappointing - to put it very mildly. YummySoup! 1.6.2 (Mac OS X)
YS just keeps getting better and better - If only it had a meal planner... I've suggested this to the developer in the recent past and his amiable response was that, it's just not on his list of to-do's for the program right now [my paraphrasing]. With a meal planner I would have purchased this excellent program six months ago. Well, I'm looking at it again and the reviews look very good, the updates look very good, and it would be a no-brainer for me, if only it had a meal planner. Dear Developer: Thanks for your excellent efforts in developing top-notch software for my platform of choice. You may get me to buy your software anyway, but you should be aware that if I do, then I will have to invent some clumsy work-around with iCal in order to make your otherwise near-perfect product work for me.
