OpenPlanning Lite 2.6.2 (Mac OS X)

This is not Freeware

How many projects that require computerized project planning software have fewer than 20 tasks??? This is advertised as "freeware" but is actually a demo for the full version --- which retails for $200 ($199.95) per license! It's not worth downloading and testing if I can't try it with a real-world project that has far more than 20 tasks. This should be listed as a demo version. [alert admin]

Currency Converter 0.9 (Mac OS X)

Does Just What It Claims

Using version 0.9 after having the 0.2 version installed for a long time, I found it faster, better-looking, and just as easy to use. I don't have frequent need of the converter, so I can just load the widget for those times and then park it in the widgets selection area between uses. It's solid, simple, and more full-featured than ever. I can't see why you wouldn't want to add it to your widget arsenal. [alert admin]

Not that hard to use

I downloaded and used 0.9.0 without problems on my MacBook. All the features seem to work fine, and it looks great on the screen. Maybe some system settings weren't in place? All I know is, impatience sometimes causes us to do things we would not otherwise do. This is a cool program and it works great year-round for us in New Mexico.
