iTunesVolume 1.2.1 (Mac OS X)

Safari crash

This makes Safari crash under Tiger. It also keeps opening iTunes by itself when I don't want it open and you can't stop it from doing it until you shut down. I couldn't figure out how to simply quit the program. [alert admin]

CleanMyMac 1.5.2 (Mac OS X)

security update disables program

After applying the Tiger security update, Clean my Mac no longer works. It says it's in demo mode but it doesn't work anyway. Freezes and have to force quit. [alert admin]

Apple Safari 4.0.1 (Mac OS X)

no update

Saw that there was a Safari update for 4.0 Ran software update and it didn't indicate that an update was available. Downloaded stand-alone from Safari site. It's still version 4.0, not 4.0.1 Running latest Tiger on (sorry) an eMac. Don't have iPhoto 9 which is involved somehow. [alert admin]

Apple Safari 4.0b5528.17 (Mac OS X)

Safari beta Software Update Problem

When I tried to download the security update and Safari Beta update for Tiger I got the network error mentioned earlier. After several tries it finally worked. However, when I click on Software Update, it still says that I haven't download the Safari Beta update. I downloaded it several times from software update. Still says I haven't done it. Downloaded the standalone from Apple. That didn't work. Tried Safe Mode. That didn't work. How can I get rid of this notice and let software update know that my machine has the latest Safari Beta? [alert admin]

Safari beta - Same problem...

Yep. It'd be nice if Apple anticipated stuff like this. It's a little irritating.
