KeyCutter was a functional application. This is great tool to relieve the stress of coming up with passwords in a hurry. The positives were its ease of use, (with its simple design and it being a self contained stand alone application) it was cake to use(it allowed you to choose the length, number of UpperCase characters, and the number of numerals you wanter the password to be. Its negatives were the inability to remove the previous passwords you created from within the application. It kept a running tally of all the password you created in its display which you were unable to delete. (This could be dangerous if someone were to launch the app they could copy and print out your passwords and try them all.) It also seemed to group the numbers and letters together.(ie. you wanted a 6 length password, with 2UpperCase Letters, and 2 numerals. It would generate a random password but it would be GS42qs. I t would group the numbers and letters together. NOTE: I found that the preferences were editable with BBEdit or SimpleText and that is where the password list was stored. My suggestion is to delete the preferences after each use if you are trying to keep really secure passwords. In some instances these function could be useful so as long as you keep this information in mind I found it to be a cool application! [alert admin]
