Apple iLife '04 (Mac OS X)
You people are all idiots. Do you not realize that they did the same thing last time? Everyone was worried about paying for iTunes. <em>IS ANYONE HOME?</em> Just because software is included with iLife _does not_ mean Apple is now charging for it. Apple sticks all those pieces in there as a way to distribute iMovie (and now, apparently, GarageBand). iMovie is like over a gig, and Apple probably finds it easier to print CDs and ship iMovie pre-installed than to send a gigabyte to a million people over their crappy 56k modems for the next 3 months. GarageBand alone probably cost over $50 before Apple bought it from someone. Stop jumping to conclusions, youre going to strain yourself. [alert admin]

PDFJoiner 0.40b (Mac OS X)
I (the developer) am no longer working on PDFJoiner. I'll try to keep it working with the latest OS, (I believe it still works under panther) but there will no longer be any major changed made by me in the foreseeable future. If you want to take over the project, be my guest. Email me at software @ qetipadgu.org [alert admin]

Apple Mac OS X 10.2.8 build 6R73 (Mac OS X)
Freeezes my brand-new 17" powerbook when I try to use a first-generation (i think) logitech USB mouse. Works for a little while, then crashes. I've only tried it in the right USB port, however, and don't plan on testing it again until there is an update availible. [alert admin]

uControl 1.3.2 (Mac OS X)
I have only two real problems with uControl: It it never "sticks" on. I think its for some kind of security thing so it wont kill your computer, but I have to re-enable it every time I reboot. Thank goodness this isn't OS 9... With the arival of my 17" PB, the left and right sides of the trackpad appear to be "dead" to uControl. I guess it just doesn't look there, requiring a tab bit more effort to scroll with one hand. [alert admin]

SnipSnap 0.4 (Mac OS X)
I love how this doesn't depend on much. No need to install anything special. Also, for those of you who, like me, wanted to get the latest version, but it would run (giving an error like somethingmissing /java) you can use the run.sh from .4 to run the later versions AFAIK [alert admin]

Sorry about that. If you don't first choose a directory (0.31b) using the "Choose Folder..." button, the application wont know where to put it. This was an attempt to work around the saving to the root directory bug. I'll release a new version quickly. This part totally slipped my mind, and thanks for pointing it out. [alert admin]

Fonts embedded muliple times...
Unfortunately I dont have the power to prevent fonts being used twice. All the actual joining is done by the joinPDF application. I'm not going to try and modify the joinPDF application because my changes probably wouldn't be included in the joinPDF application for some time, and I don't currently want to distribute GPL software since I'm not interested in studying the license as of yet. iBlog 1.3 B4 (Mac OS X)
Works great. I had some difficulty buying it at first, as it seems there was a problem with the automated registration email, and it appears as if the email server was down. It was all sorted out in the end, though, and I think it was pretty timely. [alert admin]

I'm sorry if PDFJoiner doesn't work for you. There are only two issues I can think of that would cause something like that. I assume you have a standard installation of joinPDF, so that can't be it. The other problem could be that you don't have write permissions on the root directory. If you change the finished directory with the "Choose Folder..." button to one that you do have permissions for, it should work. I'm…
