Indigo 2.0.0b2 (Mac OS X)
... huge upgrade in Version 2. The ability to easily create a control page (a web page that controls everything that you can access from any browser) is brilliant. One of the few Mac software products that I can't do without. I know that this is only a beta version, but I would like to see the final version make it a bit easier to integrate video in to the control page. Nonetheless, this is the by far the best Home Automation software that I have seen so far ... and I have used most of them. [alert admin]

Remote iTunes 1.0b (Mac OS X)
I love this program ... it is exactly what I need. However, PLEASE MEAKE IT A UNIVERSAL BINARY! Many people need this program because they upgraded to a new intel based machine and are using their old powerpc computer as a server. Also, if you could make ths a universal binary widget, that would be even better :-) [alert admin]

I am a professional golfer. I have been trying to find a way to make Windows compatible golf swing analyzer software (including firewire video input) work on my powerbook G4 using Virtual PC to no avail. All that I needed to do was to be able to capture live video of my swing on the course and draw a few lines on it so that I could check my head position, swing plane, etc. However, the VPC option didn't work, was a pain in the butt to use, and was sloooooooow when I went the long route of importing video into the application.

**Blink** Then a light came on ... use Apple's iMovie which allows live capture and is VERY easy to use on the course and some type of software that allows me to draw on the screen. Magic Pen works PERFECTLY and allows me to draw my lines over my swing video on the fly, thus allowing me to check my positions and make adjustments during range practice. THE PERFECT SOLUTION ... and sooooo easy!

The only addition that I would suggest for my use of the software is the ability to draw perfectly straight lines in addition to free hand lines.

TWO THUMBS UP! Before I tried this I looked on this board to see if it could be done and found nothing. So for anyone else who is wondering, it can and works great! Here is what I am using: - AXIS 2100 Network Camera (~$200 on ebay) - AXIS Power Over Ethernet: Midspan and Splitter (sends power and data of the ethernet cable) (~$200 from MacMall) - 100' ethernet cable (~$20 from Radio Shack) - Apple AirPort Express - Security Spy Software ($50 shareware) Security Camera is located in the garage to watch my car and my configuration is as follows: AE -> POE Midspan -> 100' Cable -> POE Splitter -> Camera I can view the camera wirelessly without any extra software from any ethernet connected or wireless Mac or Windows computer on my network just by typing the IP address in any browser. However, I use SecuritySpy software to detect motion and record activity. In addition, I can type in my cable modem IP (even though it is not static) and camera port number (ie. 123.456.789.001:8000) from any computer on the internet, enter my login and password, and view my garage. It has been running for two days now and has worked flawlessly. I have it set to only five (640 X480) frames per second to preserve bandwith. In addition, I have the camera running, am stream music to my stereo via the same AE, and am surfing the net, all wirelessly without any lag in performance. If you have any questions, just ask :-) [alert admin]

Developer ... there are many golf score keepers out there. If you want to make your product "THE" golf score keeper, you will need: - a checkbox on each hole for fairway hit [F] (also ability to disable for three pars); - a checkbox on each hole for green in regulation [G]; - an entry field on each hole for putts [P]. In additiion, the foregoing should automatically calculate percentage of fairways and greens hit per round and total putts per round. If you want to make it a truly great program I would also like: - an entry field on each hole for drive distance [D] (also ability to disable for three pars). - distance to pin [DTP] (this is for your approach shots); - distance from pin [DFP] (this is for how close your approach shot lands); and an automatic calculation for appraoch shot error percentage DFP/DTP. Finally, the ability to print out a blank scoresheet that we could take to the course with us and fill in as we go. if you could do the foregoing, your program would be "THE" golf program instead of just another program. In addition, I, and just about every other golf pro that I know, would pay as much as you wanted for your program. I bet that you could also license your program to golf marketers such as Dave pelz. This program rocks! I bought one like it before, but never used because it continuously hogged processor resources ... this prog is dormant until it updates the map ... MUCH BETTER. Added mailseth's pics to increase visual quality. Can't think of anything that I would add. You're the man Gabriel! [alert admin]
