World of Where 3.8 (Mac OS X)
Statistics not shown in version 3.8
The latest version does not show statistics for countries (area, population, GDP etc.). The previous versions used to show these statistics upon hovering the cursor upon the countries. This fact that this feature has been removed has not been mentioned in the list of changes for this version. Though it is a good program, i am sad to see a useful feature be removed. I wonder whether it is a bug which might be corrected or a deliberate change. Also, i agree with another reviewer that the color of countries should be made to change in every test. After multiple tests you subconsciously start relating country with their colors. Another problem is in the flag tests when you get the answer wrong, the font color of the country simply changes color to red. The correct answer is not otherwise displayed anywhere. So in a test with many countries on the map after some time it becomes difficult to figure out which name just turned red. If the name was popped up or something then it would be easier to spot, but simply changing the font color when you have many other 'red' countries makes it very hard to spot in maps with numerous countries. EyeTV 2.4 (Mac OS X)
0KB recordings still not fixed
Using eyetv with miglia tvmax is a pain. If eyetv is on at the time of computer going to sleep then when it wakes to record, it results in a 0KB recording. This problem has been there since 2.3.1 and despite having notified to elgato, it hasn't yet been fixed. So if you have multiple schedules set up with enough gap in between them for the computer to sleep, no recording takes place on waking up. Only improvement over 2.3.1 is that somehow it happens only when it wakes the comp after a longer duration of sleep. 2.3.2, 2.3.3 and 2.4 all behave the same. Miglia agrees that the bug is present, but even after so many months nothing has been done. Only solution seems to be to use it without sleeping the computer, which is just unacceptable.
