Metes and Bounds 1.5.0 (Mac OS X)

I just love it!

A couple of years into this GREAT software and no problems. Developer makes good updates and program works. Have had no qualms about the total acreage/area output. Every time I finish a plat it registers the same acreage as called for in the deed. Kudos (again) to the developer! [alert admin]

iGlasses 1.2.2 (Mac OS X)

This IS the real thing

Have been using this little app for about 5 months and it is the best money I have spent on an accessory. Yes Apple should have thought of this, but I think it is FANTASTIC that the developer can make a few bucks on this GREAT "after market" idea If you have an iSight, you need iGlasses!!! and no, I'm not related to the developer! Metes and Bounds 1.3 (Mac OS X)

Well worth the money!

New features are good. This is NOT a program that would be used by a licensed surveyor, but it one heck of a great tool for real estate agents and home owners that need a visual representation of property taken from a metes and bounds description on a deed. Developer is VERY responsive to suggestions and comments. As a real estate broker, this program has saved me plenty of time, money and headaches - and maybe some ticks and snakebites! [alert admin]

DayLite 1.8 (Mac OS X)

Think Twice - Revisited!!

I wanted to make this a new post so folks will read this along with the ones below. Matthew at Marketcircle did call me, at his expense, and got me up and running. It seems that I did indeed fall thru the cracks at their help desk. I apprecieate the extra time and effort made to get me going again. I would still suggest that phone intervention be made available at some level to avoid problems such as mine in the future. Matthew, THANKS AGAIN!! (a true professional) [alert admin]

DayLite 1.8 (Mac OS X)

Think Twice

I thought I had found the answer to my prayers after ACT stopped supporting Mac. I spent untold hours trying to get a handle on this software and it never really did what I needed done (real estate contact management and everything that entails). Every once in a while I could see light at the end of this overbuilt tunnel, but after having to reinstall my OS a few months ago and actually needing real help, I realized I had made one of the biggest professional blunders in years. These people have NO person to person help. I emailed them numerous times to get a solution and got the same response each time - do this, this and this - all to no avail. At least they did email back ( a few times!!!) After weeks of no access to my contacts, I emailed them begging that someone PLEASE call me at MY toll free number and get me out of this jam. That was the the last contact ever made because I have never heard from them again. This may be good for some HUGE corporate scenario, but it is a bloated, cumbersome, piece of crap that needs its own IT guy 24/7. If you are small to medium business and want to get production right, think twice before you buy this one. PS I'll sell you the manual CHEAP! [alert admin]

Think Twice

I guess I didn't mention - yes, I still have Daylite on my machine and the data files also. At least I can see what I think are the files, the program says "no local databases found"

Think Twice

I will be glad to forward my previous emails to you. If you can fix it then I stand corrected. At this point, I have indeed gone on to another product, but quite a bit of the data that was in Daylite was not able to be reconstructed. Again, regretably, I feel that a phone walk thru is the only thing that will work. I am still willing to pay. The emails…
