Rubik 1.1 (Mac OS X)
10.3.8, PB 15" 1.5GHz, 512MB RAM The cube rotation is a bit flaky, however. It doesn't let you rotate the cube 360° in certain directions (I'm talking about the cube itself here, not individual sides). Also, when I finally solve the cube, the centers don't always match up (due to the texture being hilighted on one side--may I suggest lighting effects? ;-) All in all a good start, but the rotation issue can get a bit irritating. Great Review at PerversionTracker
I think PerversionTracker's review of this software just about sums it up: http://perversiontracker.com/archives/000457.html [alert admin]

NewsTicker 2.1 (Mac OS X)
This is a nice little ticker, well worth a measly $5. The only other feature I need is an OPML import so I can use my NNW feeds in NewsTicker. Once added, this will be awesome... [alert admin]

SideTrack 0.9 (Mac OS X)
This is one of those essential bits of software which is ridiculously useful in addition to being ridiculously free. Adds the scroll "wheel" and right mouse "button" that I used to envy Windows users' trackpads for. No more! SideTrack does what the Windows equivalent does, and then some. I have had no stability problems or bugs whatsoever. A must-have! [alert admin]

Brain Hotel 1.0 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
This game was simply fun to play. The offbeat humor was great! I had a blast playing and look forward to future titles from this company... try out their other game "Case of the Crabs" for a film-noir style adventure game! The puzzles are challenging, though the overall game isn't all that long. There's a variety of hidden jokes throughout the game as well. My only complaint is with the stability... once, the game's interface became entirely unresponsive, requiring a quit. This was a bit frustrating, as I hadn't saved the game recently. I recommend saving often. All in all a great game, especially for the price! [alert admin]

Derelict 1.01 (Mac OS X)
I just completed the demo of this game, and it was excellent. The graphics are a bit on the chunky side, but the animation is fast and furious, and it definitely is a finger-twitcher. I recommend this game to any arcade fan--it brings me back! The demo was a bit short (or maybe I'm just really good? Nah!), and the full game perhaps a tad expensive, but otherwise it was excellent. Good work! [alert admin]

Red Faction 1.2b3 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
Used to play this game all the time on my old iMac G3 in OS 9. I was thrilled to discover there was an OS X version. Smooth & no crashes yet after several hours of play. Running 10.3.5 on a PB15" (1.5GHz G4, 512MB RAM). FSAA looks pretty good too... [alert admin]

Poisoned 0.4 (Mac OS X)
Poisoned is 99% 128kbps because...
...KaZaA itself, the largest network that Poisoned searches, has a maximum bitrate of 128kbps (though this can be bypassed with Kazaa Lite). Notice that there is no such maximum on OpenFT, for example. [alert admin]

Poisoned 0.4 (Mac OS X)
Poisoned just keeps getting better! At version 0.4 it works even more intuitively. Get this right now if you haven't already! [alert admin]

<whine>Yes, distributing Linux distros!</whine> But seriously, all that is on the Gnutella network is porn and illegal music. The only p2p system that has a strong legal ground is BitTorrent. I have even used the network to try and find legal music, to no avail.

Hello SirJohn, I have looked through the code, and it's true--a performance bug exists when typing in 0.6. Next time, it would be nice if you sent me an email before posting a 1-star rating. What if I didn't check for comments on VersionTracker? I wouldn't receive your bug report and probably wouldn't notice otherwise! I don't mean for this to be a rant, and if it seems that way, I apologize. However, I am a one-person…

Hi, Glad you like it. The new channel bug is fairly big, so expect an update very soon. You can still right-click on a channel, or click the "new separator" button and edit its settings in the meantime. Cheers, Robin

Actually, while some features (namely find as you type's input box and the key equivalents) are a bit buggy, 0.41 works in Tiger.

Hello, I'm wondering what you mean here. Are you talking about the clearing the recent searches (I did nothing to this function and it works fine for me) or about the Find-As-You-Type search clearing (press the escape key)? Cheers, Robin (Developer)

Hello, as stated by the commenter before me, this was a bug I didn't not forsee when I released 0.33 and it has since been fixed. I urge you to attempt redownloading. If it still doesn't work, there are instructions on my website, http://www.pozytron.com/ for a simple fix. Cheers, Robin P.S. You rated the price as 0 stars, which may be, I admit, a little baffling for me, as I have never charged for the app... I apologize…

The Desktop Box feature is actually a hidden feature of Exposé—the bugs that you noticed are not the fault of Xupport, but rather the bugs of Exposé's hidden feature itself (probably the reason why it wasn't enabled in the first place). I'm not the developer or a friend, I just thought I'd clear that up.

Use the new PlaintextPaste 0.13 to solve this problem. It's not yet on VT when I posted this message, but you can get it at http://www.pozytron.com/files/PlaintextPaste013.zip Cheers, Robin
