Chromatic Tuner 1.8 (Mac OS X)
when the input level is fixed or controlled by the audio input device, the input volume slider will be grayed out. this is a standard Mac OS user interface behavior. -author [alert admin]

Chromatic Tuner 1.7 (Mac OS X)
Chromatic Tuner works on any Mac with any audio device
Chromatic Tuner works on any Mac with any audio device as long as it is compatible with Core Audio which is the Mac OS X audio standard. please let me know if it doesn't work. i'll fix it. posting false accusation here without the description of how it doesn't work will not solve any problems. Guitar Tuner 5.1 (Mac OS X)
if you use it properly, you get a very accurate reading. please make sure the input level isn't too low or too high. there are hundreds of customers using Guitar Tuner without any problems. also AU version of our tuners for GarageBand 2 and Logic 7.1 is also available at the store.rustykat.com web store and here at versiontracker.com as well. -author [alert admin]

Lab Meter 5.0.5 (Mac OS X)
we made separate small and quick apps for each purpose instead of one app that has all features that you may not need for your purpose. also you don't have to pay for the full price one big app with all features you don't even use. it's 5.0 because there were previous versions for Mac OS 9 and earlier. Bass Tuner especially needed to be a separate app in order to optimize it for the lower frequency. and it now supports 5- and 6-string bass guitars. [alert admin]

For user definable tunings, try Piano Tuner
For user definable tunings, try Piano Tuner. you can define your own turning, and you can use Scala files.

thanks for your feedback. you can use Soundflower (free) to route any output to the ProLevel input. Mac OS X doesn't provide a feature to route audio signals without a third-party solution such as Soundflower and Audio Hijack, unfortunately. -author

i never heard any problems from any users
i never heard any problems from any users. what exactly is the problem? if you can actually describe the problem, i can fix it or maybe i can explain it's not even a problem. Chromatic Tuner works on iBook and MacBook just as on any other Macs. the poster below didn't ask for any improvement. he is simply misunderstanding the key C and A based scales. non-equal temperaments are not absolute, it's relative to the key or tonic. -author

it's not an error. you are still confused with the C-based and A-based notitaions. anyways, i will remove it from the next release since you can make whatever termperament you want and you can call it whatever you want. you probably should provide Scala Scale temperament files with the names you think it's correct on your web site.
