iCab X 4.0 (Mac OS X)
iCab can finally compete with Safari and Camino. Everything finally works the way it should. Its easily as fast as Camino (which, of course, leaves Safari in the dust). [alert admin]

Yellow Dog Linux 5.0.1 (Mac OS X)
I installed YDL 5.0.1 on my G5 iMac (10.4). Yes, it works, but its very cumbersome. Maybe I just need to get used to a different operating system, but NOTHING is straightforward. Even finding and installing software is difficult. I was going to leave it on my machine just to play with it, but its killing me. Not long after coming out of yaboot (allows you to select between OSX, YDL, CD for boot) the cooling fans come on full blast and stay on full blast for as long as I'm in YDL. I couldn't stand it and removed it all. [alert admin]

You misunderstood. I admitted that I needed to learn something new, but the issue with the fans on my G5 iMac running at full blast keeps me away. If it weren't for the fans, it would still be installed and I would be playing with it and learning new stuff.
