OggVorbis QuickTime Component r45 (Mac OS X)
Remove _all_ old components to make it work
Hi, I thought I'd put it in here for everyone to see: I copied the new component to /Library/QuickTime/, and at first iTunes still crashed. Then I looked and found that the installer of the old Ogg component had _also_ copied it to ~/Library/QuickTime/ (the Library/QuickTime in your home directory). Remove _both_, install the new one, and it works flawlessly. Great work! [alert admin]

I had this problem, too, at first - I had copied the component to /Library/iQuickTime/, and still it crashed. Then I looked and found that the old component was still in ~/Library/QuickTime/. I deleted that one, and now it works! Hooray! Finally, I can listen to my Oggs again. :-)
