AlchemyTV DVR 2.1 (Mac OS X)

Maybe an odd memory leak on a G4AGP 400 - Activity Monitor indicates avg 43% processor usage? I thought something was up when I was watching TV and started a network transfer (PBG3 Pismo on network) with source files on TV G4 and Finder Copy status is not moving until after long pause with kbs only transfered until I quit Alchemy TV and then file transfers appear normal. This problem manifested after the recently installed update to the Alchemy Mgilia TV software. Tried to clone an external drive and received odd error messages. No problem after logout/login without running Alchemy 2.1. [alert admin]
