Well, it's a nice piece of software but so many updates for so long and no real addon's. I wish they listen to the customers and start adding on more modules. A bit expensive at this point in time. [alert admin]

HyperImage 1.1 (Mac OS X)
I'm not sure why the others have issues but I can tell you it runs perfectly on my mac and does the job to download any file I like, pdf,jpg etc .... I use 10.5 on Intel CPU. You might have little issues with the demo but the real thing works just fine. I got fast and friendly responses from the creator. Good Stuff ! [alert admin]

Well, I don't know what people are talking about when they have problems using this software but do allow me to add my view. I have this running in background all the time and never have an issue with it. I use it to capture video mainly at frame rates from 1 to 25 per sec. with sound. I even grab fullscreen Parallels screens running video ! It never even skipped a frame that I can see. So needless to say this is one great screengrabber. I use a 24" imac Duo2core/2Gb and a 2nd screen attached. [alert admin]

Audio Hijack 2.0 (Mac OS X)
Hijack pro 1.2.4 or Hijack 2.0
I've used amy automatic recording programs in the past, on mac and PC. The Hijack series are easy to use, clean and works reliably. Yes it costs 30$ or so but compare that to Audible or other software where you sometimes have to be lucky to get your recording done, it's cheap. It's worth every penny ! And I use it dayly for months now. The only issue I have is that is should warn you when shutting down and MP3 tag editing would be helpfull too. O one more thing, a build in MP3 recorder in V2.0 or a free script to use one automatic would be a plus. [alert admin]

It does not enable you to speak over the phone using a modem but it sure makes my life easier using this little program to call my customers with a calling card. GREAT !! Hope you will keep developing this little gem. [alert admin]

Judging software or a company based on the frequency of updates isn't smart now is it ? Microsoft software would be a clear winner and I think we all agree that is not the case :-)
