OnyX 2.1b4 (Mac OS X)
This is the very 1st time that I've ever had problems with OnyX. Mac Pro running 10.5.8. Says it's for Mac Intel machines.... I had to restore previous version. This just kept crashing. [alert admin]

SOHO Notes 7.0.8 (Mac OS X)
Agree with Dillinger. You can only import DB from v.7. I can't access my DB from v.6 and Chrono's support system is totally useless and a joke. DO NOT BUY THIS UPGRADE. You can't get any kind of support from these jokesters. I'm contacting my Discover Card people to cancel the $25.00 upgrade order due to uncooperative publisher. What a scam! [alert admin]

Apple Mac OS X 10.6 (Mac OS X)
I've been a Mac evangelist since 1984 and have never seen Apple come out with such a piece of garbage. Don't waste your money. Apple's really dropped the ball on this one. I'll guarantee that you'll switch back to 10.5.x after you waste your $30 on this. For shame Steve Jobs! [alert admin]

LimeWire 5.2 (Mac OS X)
I gave up on Limewire after 5.x; talk about breaking something that wasn't broke. Have used Frostwire ever since and am not looking back. Try it, you'll like it! [alert admin]

OmniWeb 5.9.1 (Mac OS X)
Fantastic browser just trumped Safari again! Combined with FiOS, it's unbeatable IMHO. I tried to Safari 4 beta, but there's something I don't like about Apple's insistence on adding that finder quicklook idea to its browser, among other apps. [alert admin]

FontExplorer X Pro 2.0 (Mac OS X)
Font Agent Pro is comparatively expensive, about $100, but at least it works as advertised. [alert admin]

Why not just use the freebie online services for oversize file FTP services? YouSendIt and DropLoad have served me well over the past several years. [alert admin]

Erik: How did you manage to contact them? If I can import my 6.x DB, then I'll shut up.

Wrote to them last week asking about updates for SL and have heard nothing. Very unlike them, so I kinda believe the worst has happened.

Fusion is good if and when you can ever get it to work consistently; we dumped it years ago in favor of FAP and have never looked back. The suitcase people ruined Font Reserve and never apologized either!

Don't know how you're using it... your email NOR your FTP server should be involved at all. Both dropload & yoursendit are strictly web applications.

Regarding price, I think it's a bargain, especially if you have customers who supply PDFs from MS Publisher & Quark. It's saved my butt many times.

You may want to try out Q2ID from Markzware I've been using for some time now, and although it's not a perfect filter (what filter is?), it's a real time-saver.
