PhoneValet 5.3.2 (Mac OS X)
PV's support has been excellent for the 3+ years I've been using it. They respond quickly, usually within 24 hours, and stay with you throughout problem resolution. I'm impressed and very pleased with the company overall. [alert admin]

Moneydance 2008 (Mac OS X)
I rebuilt permissions, ran Disk Warrior, duped prefs, etc. Still will not launch properly without quitting several times, then -- maybe -- working properly. WIll work for one session, then after quitting, fail to launch again and again, etc. I restored from a TimeMachine backup (version of 03/24/08) and it's working fine again. [alert admin]

Moneydance 2008 (Mac OS X)
Did anything change between this release and the one of 03/24/08? Reason I ask is because it will no longer launch for me consistently. I have to relaunch 2-3 times before it will work without quitting and reporting a problem. ???? I'm going to try to go back to the previous version which worked flawlessly. [alert admin]

Freeway Pro 5.0 (Mac OS X)
5.0 exceeds my greatest expectations. For mimicking print page layout functionality with unbeatable simplicity of use and meeting all technical web specifications, you can't beat it. Plus I got a senior citizen's discount for the upgrade too! NOBODY out there offers such a great product at any price out there and the support is the best I've experienced on the web or anywhere. Great product, great price, great service..... someone once said that you'll never get price, quality and service at one time and that you'll only get 2 at best. Softpress has demonstrated that you can get all 3 at one time. Keep up the great work Ian et al. (PS: I'm not an employee of Softpress and this is an unsolicited testimonial.) [alert admin]

How can you get an update to a file that, when downloaded, then expanded and launched, is "unable to find an application to update"? When I ran updates from AI 13.02, it told me there were no new updates available. WOW. Adobe's gone great lengths again to ensure disappointments in its applications. Come on Steve Jobs! Let's give those fat cats at Adobe some more competition! I fear they're going the way of Quack Depressed in their complacency. [alert admin]

Linotype FontExplorer X 1.2.2 (Mac OS X)
Funny, but it seems that FAP took 10.5.2 right in stride whereas Explorer's got a few bugs it seems. Must have something to do with paying for good software or something like that? ;-) [alert admin]

FastSend 3.0 (Mac OS X)
Why would an average user spend 400 Euro/500+ US$ for something that's free with yousendit.com or dropload.com? That makes no sense to me at all, in spite of FastSend's advantages. I understand that this is aimed at the corporate market, but still if I were an IT manager, I'd be hard pressed to justify it's expense unless I was a software publisher and was downloading large files all day long. I must be missing something, but I'll take yoursendit all day long for my needs of up to 100 meg attachments at zero marginal cost to me. [alert admin]

Art Text 1.2.2 (Mac OS X)
Fantastic tool... I stopped using Typestyler because they simply have not kept up with their promises for a new product for OS X. Don't really need TS any more with this gem. Only problem I have is that certain fonts it seems to "expand" or widen. Not sure why... Otherwise 100 stars IMHO. [alert admin]

PageSender 4.1.1 (Mac OS X)
Would really be slick if it worked through a cable modem hooked up to an Airport wireless base station. [alert admin]

On the SOHO website are specific instructions for removing the 7.x update and going back to the 6.5.?, as well as a link to that 6.x version installer. I thought it was pretty nice of them. I tried 7.x and found it unworthy of the upgrade price, so I regressed to 6.5.?.

You might be better off ranting on their forum. At least you'll get a response.

Sorry to offend you Mathew. It's people like you who make a web experience quite distasteful. If I wanted ignorance and rudeness, I would've asked for it.

Yes, but what about windows users? How do you send to them with Pando? Is it cross-platform?

There is a Universal Binary Mac version available
Adobe probably wants to minimize the bad press on the Mac version, hence no trial download.
