So far... so good. Fast, easy install and even faster/easier sync with my 580i phone. [alert admin]

This widget does exactly what it says it does... and does it well. It's very easy to pick up a photo from iPhoto or mail, start dragging it, active dashboard, and drag it right to this widget. Type in your tags, hit upload and you're done - couldn't be easier. I think the widget could be a little smaller - but it certainly takes up less screen real-estate than many of the less useful widgets. Maybe an option to add photo to a set would be nice... or a second text field so you can post it directly to your blog... but that might be pushing what I widget should be doing. Long story short... this is a nice widget. [alert admin]

SideTrack 0.8 (Mac OS X)
Utilities like this come standard on many windows laptops now - and this should come standard on every PowerBook. The feature that allows you to use the corners of the trackpad as different mouse clicks is a life saver. I've mapped a corner for right-click, and for each of the expose actions. On our 15" powerbook with a backlight screen, it's tough to map the expose functions into the F keys, because the backlight controls take up F8-10. This is a lifesaver - a much more eligant way of doing things. A wonderful addition to any Mac laptop. [alert admin]

Mimio X 1.7 (Mac OS X)
No problems yet with Mac OS X Panther and our original Mimio for mac (apparently the software works with all USB Mimio devices, except the flipchart). Seems to have all of the features of the windows software. Great hardware with software that does what it says. Could use some extra brushing up in terms of making the software more elegant and Mac-like. Minus one star for not working in the background (as soon as the capture bar registers any new input, Mimio switches to the foreground). [alert admin]

Used this program this afternoon to move purchased songs from my girlfriend's tablet PC (which doesn't have a CD burner) to my PowerBook. Worked like a charm - very fast over our AirPort network.
The icon in this version is a big step forward - but it looks too much like the Network Utility icon - it's easy to confuse them if they're both on the dock at the same time. Otherwise - GREAT! Keep up the good work! [alert admin]

iCAR 0.6 (Mac OS X)
This product does what it says, and is well worth the price :-). My previous problems were resolved by deleting all of my iChat preferences. To the developer's credit, he did contact me and make an effort to get things fixed. Great product with lots of potential, that right now fills a very big gap in iChat AV (beta) for me. [alert admin]

Apple iChat AV 2.1b (Mac OS X)
Seems to work as advertised for me, which is nice, considering it is beta software. Kudos to Apple and AOL for getting this working - and for releasing the beta to the public. I do, however, feel sorry for the folks on the Windows end: the AIM video interface is really ugly when compared to iChat's simple approach. [alert admin]

iCAR 0.6 (Mac OS X)
Problems with iChat AV 2.1 beta
I haven't been able to get iCAR to work with the beta. No reply yet from developer... currently the default auto-reply is sent (the "running circles" reply that seems to be hard coded into iCAR) - but the preference pain does not appear in iChat. Otherwise, this software is a godsend (as most of you know, AIM users are confused as heck when they don't get their precious auto-reply). I can't wait for it to work with the latest iChat AV - so I can give this 5 stars. [alert admin]
