MOTU 828/896/828mk2/896HD/Traveler 1.4.5 (Mac OS X)
As soon as I installed v1.4.5 and launced my MOTU828 original I got a kernel panic. Restarted—same thing. Only happens when FW interface is launched. The previous version (1.3.9?) worked with the same config. MBP 2.4GHz/4GB/MOTU 828. Curious if anyone else is seeing same behavior. [alert admin]

Virex X 7.5rc1 (Mac OS X)
I don;t have a "Corp Grant ID" whatever that is, but by filling out the form completely and checking the box confirming that I read the NDA the download worked fine. Installer works fine as well. 10.3.5 on PBG4/1.33GHz [alert admin]

Homeland Alert 3.6.5 (Mac OS X)
This is truly pathetic. Bush Inc. wants' to keep the paranoia level high—so non-thinking drones can repeat the "Bush is strong on Terrorism" mantra repeatedly. Here's the Threat-Meter from Whitehouse.org: one of the funniest sites on the web. I urge you all to take a peek! www.whitehouse.org RED ALERT chaos: appocalypse now unfolding ORANGE ALERT panic: arabiacs at your front door YELLOW ALERT paranoia: sustain, re-elect, repeat BLUE ALERT apathy: status quo naval gazing GREEN ALERT stupor: Limbaugh, Friends, Survivor [alert admin]

Homeland Alert 3.5r2 (Mac OS X)
This is just sad. That anyone buys Bush-Cheney's fear-mongering...
...is indicitive of how far many citizens have fallen in intelligence. And regardless of my supporting a stereotype(Mac user vs. Micro$oft user), it pains me to see a piece of Mac software that plays into the hands of this lying, self-serving, power-hungry, closed-minded & uncompassionate administration. By the way, this ins't just my opinion. It's a conclusion reached on the basis of the facts of the last 3+ years—the worst years America has experienced in my lifetime. Understand this: this administration has a vested interest in keeping Americans terrified—a state of mind where one cannot think clearly. The reason's are obvious; only someone not thinking clearly would ignore the horrendous damage Bush-Cheney Inc. have done to the land of the free envisioned by the Founders. [alert admin]

LinSpot 1.0.1 (Mac OS X)
Charging your neighbors for accessing your net connect is certainly one's perogative, but is it necessary? It's bad enough that the corporate ISP's try to tell us what we can do with our bandwidth once it's in our homes; does it really benefit us to adopt the mentality of greed & ownership that drives them & so much of our society. If you make a deal to split the costs of a connection with your neighbor, why on earth would you need this system? Anyway, just thought for our commerce-addicted society [alert admin]

Was able to run "uninstaller" in Pacifist (which is how I installed it of course) and everything's back to normal including Shapeshifter and my transparent dock. However, I don;t use Transparent Dock anymore as it isn't Intel native: using Clear Dock instead. Entire process of installing—seeing Sarari 3 crash repeatedly—and uninstalling took 2 minutes. Hope this proves useful.

Strange—I'm experiencing the same behavior. VolumeLogic works fine (similar enhancer) but OSS has absolutely no effect regardless of what settings I adjust. I've enabled & disabled, removed other plugins...nothing. The settings adjust wehn I select presets, it's just the audio effect that is missing. Ideas? PBG4/1.67, OS 10.4.7

Hey: I have the same issues! Azureus crashes on launch before the maion window opens, and Acquisition launches normally and refuses to connect to any of the networks. The Azureus thing is not simply the 10.3.9 update though, as I upgraded my wife's PBook and azureus still launches normally. Acquisition however behaves the same way on that machine as well. Any solutions woul be appreciated. I'm trying the Java reinstall listed on Macfixit now to see…
